while i was reading my morning news papers,that were mostly about sharon today,i noticed an article that claimed:Eshkol(former pm) suggested to move palestinians to iraq,after the six-day war and the conquer of gaza strip and the west bank.....i looked into it (i had to read it) and found that secret archives from 1967,were surprisly published.....in the secret documents there,the next issues were inroduced for the first time:
Levi Eshkol:"we got a 100,000 jews from iraq,they can get 100,000 arabs.same language,same class,there's water and there's land."...it shocked me to see this,but after giving thought into it,i can't say that's surprising........in 1967,israel was pretty an outsider in the world......israel itself wasn't liberal,it was a socialist state,where the main party pretty much ruled......israel was small,and in those years lived terrified of wars that can threat israel......after 1967,the israelis had their pride come back.but still,the support from the U.S.A didn't came but in 1973,so israel still felt alone.proud,that she can take care of herself,but still alone......so israel wanted to secure itself and since they couldn't even consider giving gaza and the west bank back,(because then israel would be right where it started.surronded,choked,and can't breath from the enemies so close to it's heart.....)israel thought of settling and controling these areas....of course it's still wrong,but allways try to understand the people in the current situation......plus i must add eshkol wasn't a good pm......he couldn't make his own decison,and had stupid and didn't think through when he made plans......i might add that after the yom kipur war and the election for the first time that chose the opposite party,that made israel completely democrat,and stopped it's socializm.there's a reason these plans stayed secret,because the israeli people wouldn't agree to such a plan......well,every country has it's dark moments...

BS i might add that there is no way shamgar could have known about this,since this information was top secret,never published before.so when he started that disscusion,he lied.might i add that no one in the israeli people(except for a few people) would ever agree to remove the palestinians.

again i can say that while i bothered,after i saw i was wrong,to post this and tell what happend,i'm sure shamgar would have done the same....the fact that he never said osrry,or ever said he was wrong, and i did,is because im the son of the devil(by him)and he's and angel.

Shamgar is claiming that the current war in Iraq is part of a conspiracy to move Palestinians to Iraq, which is, of course, utterly absurd and another example of his anti-Semitism. Given the situation of the time, Eshkol's comments were perfectly understandable even if the idea wasn't practicable.
