Default Would President Gerald Ford pardon Richard Nixon today?

I really liked Gerald Ford, I think he is too decent to pardon a criminal like Nixon.

Default Hey Folks

I shouldn't ask but why do you hate Nixon that much? If he stayed in office, we would have won the war.

Default You have got to be kiddin.

According to David Halberstam, the war was lost in 1968.

I think that makes him a war criminal.[/url]

Default No.

I don't think Gerald Ford would pardon Richard Nixon today because not only is he no longer a president, but he is also dead. I do not think that dead ex-presidents can pardon other dead ex-presidents due to a deterioration of their manual dexterity leading to their inabiity do use a pen to sign the declaration of pardon.

Default never

I never have pardoned Nixon, or pardoned Ford for pardoning him.

If you betray your country and its ethic, as its leader, and are not genuinely contrite about it - burn in hell, Dick.
