Default Americans - an idea to commemorate winston churchill.

Main streets in europe are named for great americans (except in France, they also name them for american killers, but put that aside for the moment.)

Why not rename a street for winston churchill? I suggest pennsylvania avenue.

Note: Pennsylvania was named by his son for Admiral William Penn, an english naval officer with no connection to the US. Pennsylvania can keep their name, but winston churchill would be a more fitting person to name the street after.

Default My name is Benjamin Blue, but my friends call me Bubba

I've been to many countries that have streets named after Americans. Never thought of it but I do wonder why we don't do the same here (more often anyway). Churchill is definitely deserving of a street named in his honor. No more fitting place than DC. Since he encouraged the US build the CIA maybe a street in Langley would be appropriate.

Default Has nothing to do with distraction

I suppose it takes a minimal level of intellect to realize that you can take an interest in both issues small and large. I guess it just grinds on you that you lost the election not once but twice. My advice to you...seek therapy. And soon.
