Absolutely, my father was in WW2 and was a career 20 yr Combat Infantry veteran in the 25th Tropic Lightning Division and probably would have been killed in the Invasion of Japan if it wasn't for Tibbits. I met him when he came to my home town In Monroe, when he was visiting his old pilot training school at Selman Field back in the 70s. He was a true hero and should be commended for his actions. By the way I posted this article over at Greenpeace.com under Peace and Disarmament and they refused to acknowledge him and condoned his actions.

Default Nancy King's Arse

Those nip protestors. "Col.Tibbetts you evil murderer!"

Yet never an apology for the rape of Nan King & The Bataan Death March.

That Nan King woman, she really must have had a sore ass after all that raping!

I thought this was going to involve homosexuality. Obviously, I was wrong.

It's always sad to see someone go.

I thought it strange that sporlin83 titled the topic "Gay hero..." The plane was named after Tibbets' mother, Enola Gay Tibbets.

Default Great Footage of the Nuke Attack

Great footage of a great man. Also check out Truman smiling before his conference like he was excited about the bomb.

I Wouldn't call it a worst war. Look at all of the great stuff that came out of WW II:

Penicilin, atomic energy movies such a From Here To Eternity, CASABLANCA, T HELL AND BACK, ENEMEY BELOW, BACK TO BATAAN, BATTLE OF THE BUGE, THE BEST YEAR SOF OUR LIVES, THE BRIDGE AT RENMEGEN, THE DESET FOX, THE GREAT ESCAPE, MIDWAY, THE NAKED AND THE DEAD, STALG 17..... THEY WERE EXPENDABLE, THIRTY SECONDS OVER TOKYO.
PLEXIGLASS,

Plus without WW II we would still be calli WW I 'THE GREAT WAR'; ..
