So what happend in 81-87? Reagan did jack about AIDS, that's what. He only relented for 88 after a massive public outcry. This is detailed in the book "And the Band Played On", a work that anyone with knowledge on the issue would be familiar with.

What did gays "do about AIDS"? Cease the rampant promiscuity? Practice universal safe sex?

What "funding" could have made THOSE TWO THINGS HAPPEN? Things that would have SAVED MORE LIVES than ANY POSSIBLE GOVERNMENT PROGRAM.

Even today, DECADES LATER, GAY MALES have the HIGHEST RATE OF STDs of ALL TYPES (except chlamydia), of any DEMOGRAPHIC.

And, as always, the UNAVOIDABLE RESULTS of their OWN CHOICES, are always "someone else's fault"...
