Default Shades of Ronnie

It was a flash back to the Iran Contra trials. Remember those famous words, "I don't recall," Ronald Reagan uttered repeatedly during the trial? Now we have Mr Bush stating , "I don't remember," when asked about the conversation that took place right after 9/11 in which he told his counterterrorism chief to find a link between Iraq and the Sept. 11 attacks. Do we want to re- elect a man who forgets such important meetings or more likely lies under oath to get out of answering tough questions? And why isn't this president being held accountable for the hundreds of millions of our tax dollars he gave away to several corporations right after the attacks which helped to cause this huge deficit. He should be impeached for at least purgery and he and his corporate criminals should be forced give our money back!

Wow, what a spin job. You're even changing Clarke's words. He didn't say...."find one".....he said "see if there is one." Of course, Mr. Close-Minded, Know-it-All, Clarke didn't even want to look. Because, you know....he'd done such a fabulous job under Clinton with terrorism that he had all the answers. Let's see there was.....the first WTC 1993 attack.....bin Laden's declaration of a jihad against all American in 1996......two American embassys bombed in 1998.......the Cole attacked in Oct 2000......no changes made to the CIA....no changes made to the FBI....no changes made in the Airlines rules regarding terrorism..
Yepper. That Richard Clarke had done one FIRST RATE JOB. NOT!! The only mistake that Bush made was keeping this guy on: Clarke should have been fired a long time ago.

Default More right-wing hypothesis from a person that hasn't

read the book, or even knows what they're talking about...

How can you in all honesty post this stuff when you have NOTHING to back it up with?? You are completely clueless as to ANY of the facts...

If you continue to use the (proven) liars and spin meisters at faux as your news sources you will continue to sound foolish and inane...

Default Typical Republican comeback....

Unlike JP5 , my post contains facts....Can you deny that Bush conveniently forgot an important meeting he had with his counter-terrorism chief? Can you deny that right after 9/11 the network news showed a list of companies the Bush administration gave hundreds of millions of dollars in "bail out money" which probably ended up in those nice bonuses for the top executives. Certainly didn't go to the workers pensions. Oh what workers...they laid them off...
