I have number of books and articles on that subject, but I don't want to post everything at once, so let's start with this book first:

Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak (Marathi: बाळ गंगाधर टिळक) (July 23, 1856 - August 1, 1920), was an Indian nationalist, social reformer and independence fighter who was the first popular leader of the Indian Independence Movement and is known as "Father of the Indian unrest." Tilak was one of the first and strongest proponents for Swaraj ( complete independence) in Indian consciousness, and is considered the father of Hindu nationalism as well. His famous quote, "Swaraj is my birthright, and I will have it!" is well-remembered in India even today.

I will post more material, but right now let's concentrate on this book.
By the way, the author of this book was not just from India, he was an Indian nationalist which makes this book especially credible.

Are you implying that there is (was) a landmass at the pole capable of sustaining an indigenous population? I will grant you that Spitzbergen has the remains of petrified fruit trees, so if a landmass existed at one point, the climate might have been agreeable enough. But I'll ask you the same question I have for Graham Hancock, who thinks similar things about Antarctica. Please show me a scintilla of physical proof. Say, a temple ruin, or a buried village. Hell, I'll even go for some pottery shards. But alas...

Hmm, are you telling us that being an Indian nationalist adds to the credibility of one's claims that ancient Indians lived at the North Pole? Right! If that's true, the fact that I am of German extraction ought to add to the credibility of my claim that blond-haired, blue-eyed Germans are the superior race.
