Yuh-huh. You have no idea what you're talking about.
Well there is a lot of drinking going on. Since the military started recruiting more criminals and illegal aliens I imagine it's even more so now.

Yep. And those (thus far) isolated incidents were investigated and prosecuted -- though in my opinion the prosecution didn't reach far enough up the chain of command.

That doesn't make "most" or even a large minority of U.S. soldiers "rapists and drunkards."

what do u accept of me to praise them?no way i am going to praise and justify the actions of killers and oppressors
idio
I do not expect you to praise the actions of criminals. Nor do I expect you to use the actions of criminals to tar an entire organization.

12th, your advice is sound. I'm not usually one to let incorrect information go uncorrected, but sometimes you just have to let ignorance sink on its own.

What? Young Americans drink? Alert the media!!

Soldiers, like the broader public, can drink a lot -- *off-duty*. Doing it on duty is both illegal and rare.

How that makes them "drunkards", I don't know.

I can imagine you putting the most interesting poster at this forum on your "ignore" list only if you were in a total drunken stupor, wallowing around in you own vomit and (*)(*)(*)(*) in some gutter on a narrow backstreet alley-way.

Default Antio Iraq war not same as 'anti-war crowd'.

Yeah. When we see the video of our soldiers handiing out candy and gifts to the Iraqi children and giving them "high 5's"....helping to build their schools, etc.............we don't see Dems/liberals and the anti-war people saying....."Look at that: that represents our entire military in Iraq and is such as positive thing!" But let one or two of our soldiers do something wrong or even commit a crime and suddenly they are smearing the entire U.S. military.

Strange how that works with the anti-war crowd
You don't seem to understand that just because someone may be against the Iraq war it does not make you part of the 'anti-war crowd'. There are people who are just 'anti-war" any war. On the other hand there those who are for war any war. Then there are those reasonable thinking logical people who see this Iraq II war as azzinine but see the Afganistan war and a war against the real terrorists as necessary.

Did I just waste a bit of logical nuance on certain people ????

i say it is one of the many as u say isolated cases that have come into light-there are many incidents which are far more worse that are covered up by your army
