    Not necessarily a good example. Human-canine relationships are a one-way heirarchical interaction. Much like slavery in the early South was.

    I am thinking humans would not get along so well with dogs if dogs could talk back, had their own ambitions, and the intelligence (and opposable thumbs) to rebel.
