Default Second hand Smoke. Good or bad?

Some people claim that second hand smoke is not necessarily bad for you. I disagree. The smoke still contains all the harmful chemicals.

Actually, in studying up a little more I found that general scientific consensus has been reached in favor of your opinion. So I was wrong. Apparently my information was a good bit out of date. That'll teach me not to update my knowledge before making a claim. Good thing I erred on the side of caution with public smoking.

Anyhow, that's my two cents on that. I'd be surprised if L337Simba has any information I didn't find. I mean other than a tobacco industry funded research.

It doesn't change my opinion that I have the right to smoke in private. But that's for the other thread.

You can't tell me second hand smoke isn't harmful.

I'll say it is harmful.

The only thing good about secondhand smoke is that it gets smoking banned in public places.

Gosh, what a bunch of delicate little flowers we all are. A whiff of tobacco smoke and we all need an oxygen tent! Luckily the traffic fumes that we inhale regularly are odourless, colourless and invisible ... but then I guess most of us hippies all live in the sticks and don't own a car anyway. Watch out for those nasty methane producing cows ...

Ha - bet ALL you guys drink coke/pepsi ..... that'll do yer in long before any second hand smoooooke.

I do. And I am polite enough not to splash it in the face of others around me.
It has absolutely no effect on people around me with asthma or Coke allergies either.

Perhaps I should start burping Coke fumes in the face of smokers in public though... I'll call it reciprocity.

BTW, I find the question in the OP a bit funny... There's a little debate on just how harmful second-hand smoke is... I don't think anyone can honestly answer "good".

It's usually best if you shake up the can first, grab the target by the hair, secure his or her head to the floor with your knee and open the can in such a way as to project a stream of fizz up the nose. Do make sure to get lots of the stuff all over the rest of them, though, and once it's all nice and sticky sweet, make sure to invitet hem to inspect that garden of yours right next to that yellow jacket nest in your compost pile.

Just a wee little burp? You can do better than that! Especially considering the carbon dioxide boost you get from the stuff, I would think a good, mannish belch is within your grasp. Bonus points if you can keep it in tune, preferably recognizeable.
