Yes. I don't wish to make the victims family suffer anymore than they already are, but I would not support the death penalty eithor, for anyone, no matter what the crime.

In absolute cases, Jeffery Dumber, just take them out back and put one in the back of their head and plant them in a cardboard box! No fuss, no muss!

But when a case is based and built on circumstantial evidence, no physical evidence, and theoretically based on the wild imagination of a well spoken prosecutor, life should be the sentence, if someone just has to be accountable!

I also think it is a safe estimate that 20-30% of the people who are convicted in this matter are not guilty of anything except, being in the wrong place at the wrong time!

I think anytime someone is convicted of rape, sex crimes against a child or murder they should be put to death hours after the conviction.

I agree. Give them 1 appeal (I think it should be a mandatory trail to reprove guilt or innocence) and then hang them in front of the courthouse that same day.

Nothing, what do you say if he was wrongly found innocent and goes out and rapes or kills again.

I will back off my death penalty stance if, and only if we would lock these bastidges up for life with no opportunity ever at parole. If while they were locked up they did hard labor and didn't get the frills of TV, weightlifting and so on. The people they killed, raped and or abused suffer, so they should also.
