How do you enjoy breathing in smoke? And there are lots of other ways to reduce stress. Do you want to die when your 50 from lung cancer? I just dont understand the rationale for smoking. Smoking is so harmful for your body it isnt even funny. I look down upon smokers because they are just so freaking dumb. I actually feel bad for you IsGuavaADonut because you dont even realize what your doing. I mean have you read the warning labels on the packs?

You know what is even more stupid? Those smokers who sit outside the hospital, in their wheelchairs and hospital gowns, smoking through the hole in their throats where their trach tube is.

Well, some people have been known to cough their first time and really hate the way it feels and tastes, but no so for me. I enjoy it and always have since my first cigarette. Tobacco smoke is rather mild and causes the smoker to breathe deeply which is relaxing and pleasant provided they are not bothered by the taste or sensation.

Don't feel bad for me. I know exactly what I'm doing. I know that it is harmful to my body, but I enjoy it. If you look down on me, I hope you look down on people who eat fast food. It is incredibly harmful, but people enjoy the taste. That's life... some things we enjoy doing are harmful or dangerous. I don't think anything that is harmful or dangerous to ONLY the person participating in the activity by conscious choice should be illegal.

I know more than most people how bad smoking is for you. I've studied it in depth and have had a close relative die in part from the effects of it. I know it's not good for me. But I like it, and I don't think hurting yourself should be a crime.

It's not that I don't understand where the people who want it to be illegal are coming from either. I know they think they are looking out for me. But I'm an adult and I resent that they think they are allowed to determine what is in my best interests.

Hahahahah that is a hilarious response. If you know exactly what it does to you yet you dont stop, then you must be really dumb. You cannot compare smoking to fast food. You have to eat fast food at least every other day for it to be harmful. Smoking is bad if you smoke it once.Fast food is not addictive in nature either. Nicotine is. I could care less if you smoke but i dont want you smoking it outside where i can breathe in those toxic chemicals. When people smoke they arent hurting just themselves. Everyone around them suffers. And if you dont consider that when smoking then you are selfish. I cant tell you how many times i walk around in a day and have to breathe in cigarette smoke. If i never have to breathe cigaretee smoke then i am fine with it being legal. But it puts other people's lives at risk. Now that is a stupid comment. I can breathe deeply on my own. Take a deep breath, hold it for a few seconds, and release. Done deal. The reason you cant breathe deeply on your own is because you smoke.

So if cutting my wrists is pleasureful then should i keep doing it?

Guava, you say you enjoy smoking, and I assume this is why you won't stop - because you like it too much.

But what will happen when you become ill? If you become seriously ill from a smoking related illness, do you think you have the right to expect doctors to help cure you, even though you knew what the consequences of your actions would be?

Ya what if you need a transplant of some sort. You think that your gonna be on the list? The doctors wont even bother writing your name down.

My uncle needed a double lung transplant, and he had to quit for a whole twelve months before he would be considered for surgery. He quit, had the operation, and he's never felt better - better yet, he hasn't looked at a cigarrette since.
