Then it should also be illegal. We should shut down any business serving cabbage.

While we are at it - lets save my asthma and shut down those Perfume counters in the front entrance to Dillard's and Macy's ...

(NOT JOKING) I really have to hold my breath when I go into those stores because they put those counters right at the entry from the mall
those, candle shops and the bath salt places send my asthma into a serious fit ... I literally hold my breath when I pass those stores - I have to!

How about this for an idea, take one day's worth of spending on the war, 720 million dollars (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn...092102074.html), and use it to fund a government branded cigarette manufacturer. They could then undersell the big tobacco companies to the point of driving them out of business. Then when the people that choose to smoke go to feed their addiction, they will have no choice but to buy the government brand. We can then use all the profits to fund health care for children. If the people that smoke are going to be stupid enough to waste their money, it might as well be put to a good use.

I will never agree to government solution. It is never the best solution.

Cigarettes should not be banned either,

You'd rather see Michael Szymanczyk make more than ten million dollars a year while his company's revenues are dropping. He's only in the business for the money, he doesn't care about his employees, or the fact that his flagship product kills people. All he cares about is his own bottom line.

While we are at it ...
since people like you want the government to go into business
let's just give the Whitehouse to China after they buy this government business ...

When government owns business it is called socialism ...

Why do I care how much money he makes? Why would I want to see his company's downfall?

Sounds nice to me. I'd much rather see equality for the classes than the rich getting richer by taking advantage of the masses.

You should care how much he makes because that is money taken away from his 84,000 employees. He started at the company as a vice president with only a bachelors degree. He didn't build the company, he doesn't make the product. He is nothing more than a leech on society.
