Why are you americans so fixed on eating meat? There are so many other things to eat like: fruit, veggies, noodles, fish, birds etc.

If you knew how much water a cow needs before you eat him, you migh rethink what your eathing and why. The southwestern portion of the US is dry, when the earth becomes ever more dry, then you will have problems with water usage. That will be a big issue in 40 years.

I love fruit and veggies. Pasta is meh, some is pretty good like shrimp linguine. Fish and birds are meat, I like them as well. I eat them all because they are tasty. The cow is no exception, well it is exceptionally tasty.

Dude, fish and birds are meat too. Why are you so fixed on eating rabbit food? It's just food. Meat tastes great, but it is only part of the meal.

While what you say is correct, it's a big leap from eating Porterhouse steaks to each a diet consisting solely of salad greens and bean curds. For health reasons, I try to eat a minimum of red meant by eating mostly fish and chicken. Sometimes pork. However, I'll only give up my Sunday steak, salad and bake potato either when I'm dead or too poor to afford it.

um no , I have hunted and dressed my own kill . it is necessary and a sport . eating meat in moderation is part of a healthy diet and it also helps to thin the populations of game animals .

Americans eat too much period.

Thats why their too fat and why their health insurance coverage will continue to rise.

Eat less, jog more and cut down on your liqiure intake and youll live longer.

I don't think I've ever seen anyone try so hard to derail their own thread Kudos!

Agreed, but what does this have to do with hunting? In fact, it'd be better if more Americans actually had to hunt down and catch their food then, if they did eat too much, at least they'd be working it off.

birds and fish are meat...and while no state produces more beef than TX, it's under 15%, and those moo-moos are grazed.

Some do, I don't. I don't see what that has to do with the topic though, unless your purpose is just to bash Americans.

I'm with you partner. That small buck in my freezer is a treat when I eat it.

I also like duck once in awhile. Fresh trout or salmon is also a treat.

I eat my share of veggies and take supplements. Drinking lots of water is also good.

So, am I going to continue eating the way I do. Don't get me craving fast food though. That's a whole different subject...lol
