Sure you can be a Republican and still watch the Colbert Report.
You just can't do it and be a "Good Republican" because people that watch Colbert think and "Good Republicans" don't. Did you happen to see that study a while back that proved that people that watch Colbert are much better informed than regular Faux News viewers? You better watch that trend though. You if you start thinking too much they might not let you be a Republican at all. They do have their standards you know.
