I will do anything to insure President Bush's defeat in the next election. I will do anything that Senator Kerry wants to insure that a Democrat is back in the White House come next year. Bush has to go!
I just thought you and your listeners would like to know how one senior citizen views the Bush Administration. Thank you for taking the time to read my letter.

I changed your letter slightly. I wonder how many Americans could legitimately write this letter to President Bush? The reason this letter is considered funny is because while reading it you never suspect that Hussein's name will come at the end. But, the reason this letter isn't funny is that while reading it, we understand that many Americans could have written this letter.
All the pro-Iraq war people can keep slapping each other on the shoulder to congratulate themselves on ridding the world of Hussein, but when I take a look at the cost of the war in terms of money and human lives, I see nothing worth celebrating. Bush got his revenge. Halliburton will have another banner year for profits. But, at last count 924 American families have had to arrange for funerals and the figure will continue to climb with no end in sight.
