This is a typi ( i being beside the o on a standard qwerty keyboard)

This is a spelling misteak. Spot the difference?

Not being pedantic - just sayin'

Look forward to having all my booboos pointed out in future
No, if you were being pedantic you would have said that substituting "there" for "their" is not a spelling mistake, but incorrect usage. They're (there?, their?) spelling the word right, they're just using the wrong word.

Sure. However, those who do use words incorrectly will claim they simply made a spelling mistake and usually blame their typing!

Gee, I guessed the intent of these threads was to communicate ideas. If I had known it was going to be a sixth grade spelling contest, designed to promote snobbery and elitism, I would have been sick today.

So, valuable and useful inputs are being denigrated because of a misspelling? Pretty petty, I'm guessing.

But then, some of us will resort to anything to prop up our flagging .... uhhh .... ego.

I yet again can claim the moral high ground, as I am dyslexic.

I have given up careing, as it took me a long time to check my posts.

The only real prob I have when reading posts is when people use other colors than black to write in.

Senax Flatulence, uses light blue, it looks like gobbledee gook, but I cant tell wether I am right or wrong?
