Rush is soooooo 1980's too. I remember when I worked for UPS, lots of offices were tuned to him and there were "Rush rooms" at restaurants.

Now people listen to sat radio, ipods, cds, the kids in the back seat are watching dvds or playing gameboys.

Ask a kid 18 or under how much they listen to AM ....they'll say WUT???

Something doesn't seem right, his new contract is $400 million?
...that's 28 bucks for each listener.

How many Sleep Number Beds do inbreeding hillbillys actually buy?

(Plus no one here ever will admit to listening to him)
Most potheads are democratic, but drugs don't seem to have affected him. Maybe it's because his arguments actually make sense.

Also, I watch his show every chance I get.

I actually think that he has a large number of liberals listening to him. They cant stand him but they cant change the channel!

I've always listened to talk radio, so there were many years I listened to Rush, et al; when there were no choices. Occasionally I'll listen to Mark Levin or Ingraham, mostly just to hear what the latest rw talking points are.

But I honestly cannot stand Limbaugh anymore, even though I never agreed with him, he used to be at least a little bit entertaining. Same with Sean Insanity.

Not sure what potheads have to do with this conversation unless you're saying that Rush was using this too and it was unusual??? Otherwise, what's your point? (oh, and your source?)

What's scary is that anyone would buy Rush's comedy act as making sense. In fact, I theorize that Rush's turn to drugs was caused by people like you who don't understand that Rush is a comedian.

("They don't get my comedy, they think I'm serious," sobs Rush on a Monday morning.*)
