Your position of worrying about a few illegals and the problems you believe they cause, while ignoring the tens of millions of Americans who cause the identical problems, comes across as nothing more than a witch-hunt!

When I live and work in harmony every single day with immigrant farm workers and their families, I see firsthand their value to the USA, and IMO I am far less worried about 'them' than saintly Americans who we read about every day in the newspaper robbing, and killing, and raping...

The medical treatment your speaking of is a federal law passed in 1986 to prohibit a practice commonly known as "patient dumping".Some of the examples at that time were mothers would have a baby,and leave the baby at a dumpster or at the hospital or a house front door. Not entirely. The governent picks up only some of the cost. The hospital is forced to pay the rest, otherwise the government will stop paying the hospital to treat medicare patients. The reimbursement rates are ridiculously low and do not cover the actual costs of treatment, including liability insurance expenses, of treating the poor.

Since the hospital is not allowed to charge patients more than a government-specified amount for a specific treatment that is being reimbursed by medicare, the costs of treating the poor end up being pushed onto patients without medicare. This is one of the reason medical care costs are so unaffordable in the USA.

But what has started to happen is that many hospitals in areas with large numbers of minorities have either closed down, or stopped treating medicare patients, just to avoid the expenses of treating the poor. Some hospitals have actually rellocated to higher income retirement neighborhoods that are just beyond practical reach of the minorities in the poor neigborhoods. This way, they can treat medicare patients without being forced to pay for the poor.

With all the emergency rooms becoming overcrowded or closing down, there have been a rapid rise in "urgent care centers", which are basically the same thing as emergency rooms but with a technical name change that allows them to refuse treatment to the those unable/unwilling to pay. Many hospitals are actually reducing the size of their emergency rooms and outsourcing to contracted out urgent care centers, to avoid legal obligations.

The new phenomena now is that the retired upper middle class are building their own hospitals within their gated communities. This way they can still enjoy medicare payments while actually fencing out the poor!

They are just people who hate Hispanics...xenophobia...so they just make up stuff in order to justify their biased positions.

Fact...no one knows how many illegals are in the USA.

Fact...no one knows all the jobs they possess.

Fact...lots of women, and the elderly, and the sick, and kids, all illegals, are not holding jobs. Only 45% of the American population work, so if we use the 14 million number, maybe 6.3 million illegals actually work. Many of these work part-time jobs and migrate for work. So in reality maybe 2-3 million of them have full time jobs, and common sense tells us those jobs are not 'good paying'!

Fact...if they are 'good paying' jobs, why are Americans incapable of competing for these jobs?

It's just xenophobia and this won't change until all the ignorance is purged from society...maybe in 100-200 years...probably longer...
