Illegals sneak into the US, most to find work, but some to promote gangs. When the latter are deported, they spend their time recruiting more gangsters to come to the US and contribute their part to the crime problem.

Meanwhile, the federal government sits on its hands and does nothing to stop illegal immigration.

BTW, it seems something is still missing from the new format. Shouldn't it be possible to add quotes, bold headlines, and create imbedded links?

I'm sure that most immigrants, both legal and illegal, are fine people.... only looking to improve their lot in life. But the U.S. does have laws. And you are 100% correct: we are plagued by lawmakers (both neocons and liberals) who have made every excuse under the sun not to enforce the law of the land. IMO, they are the enemy from within. IMO, these corrupt and stupid politicians, and the political lemmings that follow after them, will be the eventual undoing of this great nation.

As for the board, this is a format that I'm more used to. The old board was... well, old. I like this MUCH better. But for some reason, the admin chose to set some of the defaults in a way that some items were left out. Go to the User Control Panel. Then under Settings & Options, go to Edit Options. Then scroll down to the bottom to Miscellaneous Options and choose whichever Editor Interface you prefer.

If they're not going to change the default, they should create a Stickie explanation and post it on one of the more used forums.

I'm glad you mentioned that. I just went to my CP and asked for email notification of responses to subscribed threads. I thought that feature had been lost.

But yes, this format is much better. It's what I'm used to from other current and suddenly lost boards.

If you want to cut back on illegal immigration, make getting caught painful! Any illegal immigrant caught on american soil gets beaten and thrown over the border! But first: for each additional crime they commit you save em here for a week and then beat em again! I guarantee you dont see them too often after the first 30 or so.

Actually most of the illegals are good people and of course they are devoutly law-abiding since any lawbreaking would mean deportation. I watch the mexican population in the last twenty years and most of the ones who come over here are perfect citizens even though illegal. It is the offsprings that turn out to be such dastardly outlaws, they know they can't be deported and considering how we cater and care for our prisoners then they feel that going to prison isn't such a bad trip, you will get a warm place to stay, no work and three meals a day brought to you and all the top-rated medical care you could want. Now if you are going back to face a prison in Mexico then it is not that pleasant. This race does prone to be very tribal just like the Indians of the old days and I notice they don't blend well at all with other races and only stick with people of their own kind. They feel they are pure Western Hemisphere people and the blacks, whites and orientals are all people from the other side of the world. Actually the Indians on this side of the Western Hemisphere are from the oriental race that came over here before the Europeans did. Then all Europeans and Africans came over later and mixed in with all the Indians and made the people of the Western Hemisphere. Even the Mexicans and all the countries below North America are European-Indians since they are a mixture of Spanish and Indians. Nearly all the North Americans are Anglo-Indians, even the most blondest have Indian grandmas somewhere down their bloodline. We didn't get rid of the Indians, we are the Indians but we just don't look like them anymore. People need to stay put and change their country instead of going to someone else's country and messing up what they built up and this happens when everyone crowd in a place because it is so bountiful but it can only take so much. When all this become more than the place can bear then crime set in and then there goes deteriation of a place that was on it's way to becoming a utopia. Then again we can't control all this since the ships have already sailed when it come to doing what is right, like they say "if we don't like immigration then go talk to Sitting Bull about it because he didn't like immigration either".
