Default Universal Mandatory E-Verification

Since the fed gov is totally dysfunctional, regarding illegal immigration, because it is run by and for the special interest ruling elites, the latest trend in the fight to stop the illegal Mexican invasion is for the states to start passing tough on illegals/tough on the employers of illegals laws. Mandatory E-verification of the legal status of employees is what makes these laws work. It is the key to success. Mandatory E-verification makes all of those fake documents that illegals carry around worthless. If an employer is caught with illegals, he is just that, caught. Mandatory E-verification leaves the employers caught with illegals with no excuse. The employer must face the consequences. Massive fines, loss of business license, whatever. Most employers won't risk it and will fire their illegals. Voila. Universal mandatory e-verification would stop the illegal Mexican invasion COLD. New illegals, with no prospect of a job here, wouldn't come and most of those already here, suddenly without a job and with no prospect of a job, would have to self deport themselves back to where they came from. All this at very little cost to the American taxpayers.

Arizona Seeing Signs of Flight by Immigrants

By RANDAL C. ARCHIBOLD

PHOENIX — The signs of flight among Latino immigrants here are multiple: Families moving out of apartment complexes, schools reporting enrollment drops, business owners complaining about fewer clients.

The Arizona economy, heavily dependent on growth and a Latino work force, has been slowing for months. Meanwhile, the state has enacted one of the country’s toughest laws to punish employers who hire illegal immigrants, and the county sheriff here in Phoenix has been enforcing federal immigration laws by rounding up people living here illegally.

“The desired effect was, we don’t have the red carpet out for illegal aliens,” Mr. Pearce said, adding that while “most of these are good people” they are a “tremendous burden” on public services.

Several school districts in heavily Latino areas have reported sudden drops in enrollment. Official explanations are elusive because school officials have not been able to interview families about why they left, but, anecdotally, people point to the sour economy and the immigration crackdown among other factors.

Yes, it definitely works. We've got to make it universal, in every state.

Default Not all Mexicans

While I agree with your post, I feel the need to point out that not all illegal aliens are Mexican. As a matter of fact, millions of Central Americans make it across the borders illegally. Also, many people who come into the country legally, on a visitor's or education visa, over-stay the alotted time. By doing so, they become illegal immigrates. Keep this in mind when making further comments on immigration, as we must all be informed before protesting.

Well, with 10 percent of the entire population of Mexico in the US illegally, and with an estimated 67 percent of all illegals being from just one country, Mexico, what we have indeed is an illegal Mexican invasion. Is that enough information?

This is from the 2000 census, the numbers have changed since then. I think you can where the overwhelming numbers are from. You make a good point. The MS-13 Street gang, the most violent out there, are thugs from El Salvador.

What database? Is this something that actually exists? or is it someone's idea of wishful thinking?
