Why should be we punish them, when they make fruits and vegetables so cheap? Did you know we are losing farms because of the lack of cheap labor? Why should we punish the people who do the things we do not want to do?

That thinking is selfish and it ignores justice. There is a right and wrong.

We also might be losing farms due to technological advances leading to efficiency resulting in a decreased necessity for farmland. This follows the trend of all of human history. We feed far more people on far less land than we could 100 years ago. We shall feed far more people on far less land than we do now in 100 years from now.

Also, I do make an exception to illegal farmworkers, but they do not form the majority of illegals. Send the rest home. Or at least away from our home. I don't care if we "accidentally" send a Guatemalan back to Mexico.

Farming does lead to more food per farmland, but there are more people. So they cancel each other out. Also, what about the mexicans who build our houses cheaply and take the garbage? Also, how is it selfish that we give people jobs?

Also, increased farming technology and the increasing population means the same if not more farming land. There is nothing emotional about it.
