The only thing funny about this "humor" thread is that it helps to prove that conservative-minded women (namely MisLed and Smartmouthwoman in this case) are ashamed of their own sex and genuinely believe that women (most women anyway) are inferior. Their agreement with the OP is the evidence. I for one value men who don't view women as an inferior sex.

In fact, thanks to the emergence of the whole contraception issue as an issue, they're even losing with those relatively affluent suburban women who are typically swing voters.

I believe that liberals think more in he archetypal modes which Myers?briggs Personality Types would call the Intuitive and Visual/Spavious domains. Men have evolved to be more logical and utilize and also utilize their kinesthetic "common sense." This could be because acheiving hard cold results following behaviors related to economic success has been their function in every society. The difference being that intuitive thinkers imagine how things could be, rather than how they actually are, especially those who are intellectually skewed towards the Visual/Spacial Intellectual modes. John Kennedy even made a great speech where he actually said this. This would explain why the liberal democrats are Progressives." The 3 people who had special health problems or were between jobs,l or where in a financial bind could not get certain operations that were needed. How should America "feel" about that? That was his only point. Feeling is an appeal for haaange regardless of evidence that life realistically, can be harsh and trying. In the Unemployment matter, Obama displayed 3 people laid off for 11/2 years already, all of whom had sad stories about their bills and inability to find any kind of employment. That was Obama's case for 99 weeks of Unemployment Benefits. No intelligent discussion nor fact based research and Studies. Just an appeal to a feminine kinds of emotional reaction which cries out for change.

From what I am reading from you, you are looking like a white boy with a big chip on his shoulder who feels hard done by, and is combining anti feminism with a uniquely american brand of conservative political ideology. until relatively recently, women did not get the opportunity to have education and opportunity that men have had. for millenia, our biology, and the social structures based on a sexual division of labour based around this, determined what we were allowed to do. when women did achieve, they were ignored. ever heard of Hypatia? Emilie Du Chatelet? Caroline Herschel? There are many women throughout history who barely get a mention, despite their contributions being more significant than those of the vast majoity of men. Often men have laid claim to what the discovered/achieved. That they even achieved as much as they did was amazing in a man's world. since women have had opportunities, it has been clear that they are able to excel at most things men can do often doing better than men. there are only limited areas where there are real differences, and most of these tend to be irrelevant in the modern world. there is no evidence to support that men are more rational than women, or better at managing the political/economic sphere. if you have some modern research that supports your claims, I would be very interested to see it.
I'm as manly a man as anyone could hope to be. And if I have learned anything in my more than 7 decades on this planet, it is that any man that thinks he is smarter than a woman, is dumb as a sidewalk. Most times its amazing they tolerate us at all.
