I am SOOO tired of hearing conservatives claim that everything in the world is agenda 21 (which isn't a bad theory anyways).

It's funny how everything creative that makes tons of money is considered lib and everything that invades other countries, murders children and falls apart is considered con.

i don't particularly consider Hunger Games as creative. The first book was...okay. very formulaic. we've seen these characters SO many times. It's an entertaining little piece, like Lord of the Flies was. But on a less intellectual level.

Book 2 is rather tedious. But i started it and now i feel that i must finish it.

but I don't have to vote for the marxist in office. Considering that the GOP will control the Senate and House I see it as a happy happy time

Haven't watched or read it. The idea of kids as young as 8 being tossed in a dual to the death arena with kids as old as 18 seems a little too far fetched.
It wouldn't even be a competition.

good link and the author of that Op nailed it. I had the same thoughts when I was watching the movie. It amazed me that the Hollyweird left made a movie where a marxist government is depicted as the evil ones and the individualists are the heros

In truth. A pure conservative government and a pure liberal government would both lead to authoritarianism. Its always what happens when one party is in total control.

Actually, I came away from "In Time" feeling it was very Logan's Run-ish.

Cain was never a serious candidate though. everyone knew that but him and his circle of buddies. I mean comon... He ended his campaign with a speech that ended with the lines from pokemon 2000...
I think he realizes that now at least, which is why he and Colbert have been joking around together.

that statement says to me that you are so aware that that is what a pure liberal gov't leads to. A pure conservative one not so much but you just have to throw it in.

Throw it away and start reading George RR Martin. Just don't fall in love with a character. :)
