Uh oh...Seems America isn't buying the religious right's BS anymore. This was bound to happen as christianity in the US has become villified, and rightfully so. Thats what happens when you constantly attack women's right, rape little boys, Attempt to force your religious garbage into law...If the rate of nonbelieves continues in 20 years America will be a true secular country.
I will die knowing Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior, and he will take me into his Kingdom where I will be happy forever. Atheism offers nothing but a short and meaningless life, followed by nothingness and endless death. I don't see the advantage of being an atheist, other than the opportunity to mock other people and think you're superior to them.
So what;s the advantage of being a "Christian"? Its a good excuse to foist your corrupt morality on everyone else in the society?
What would you have, no morality at all? Would you return to the days of the pagans, when there was human sacrifice, widespread infanticide, death matches in the arena, ritual suicides, rampant homosexuality and pedophilia, orgies, and vomitoriums where people would vomit their food only to feast again? Christianity put an end to all of these immoral practices, and brought light and hope into a world of darkness and superstition. If Christianity fades from this world, the darkness will again consume us. The process has already begun. In the Netherlands 10% of all people die from euthanasia. In Switzerland, 10% of all people die of suicide. Abortion kills millions of babies every year and the bloodletting never stops, not even for one day. In Russia, where most people are atheists, the typical woman has 6 abortions in her lifetime and only one living child. The Catholic Church is forced to train more exorcists, because as paganism returns, demon possessions are increasing exponentially. The world is descending into darkness. Meanwhile, the Muslims who are not losing their faith, are killing and driving Christians out of their lands and migrating into Christian countries. I am glad I will not live to see what will become of this world.
Advantage? When did you religious affiliation come down to what is advantageous? Do you believe in your religion because you believe in God, or do you believe in your religion because you think it gives you some sort of advantage? If it's the latter you're missing the point.
Why would there be human sacrifices? How does being an atheist lead to someone becoming a pagan; a religious belief?
The above quote is in response to a man who said he would abort any child he had with his girlfriend. I do not regret what I said, because I believe my prediction will come to pass if he aborts his children. I meant it as a warning. I hope this man will turn from his wicked ways and allow his children to live.
Anyone catch that episode of South Park where Cartman freezes himself waiting for the Wii to come out? And then thaws out 500 years later when the athetists have taken over?
There is no reason to trust an atheist. Look at how Communists act. The lie, steal, cheat, kill to get what they want and there's nothing holding them back because they're atheists.
That episode is dead on accurate. When the Communists took over Russia, they started killing off each other by the millions. It was more dangerous in the Soviet Union to be a Communist than a non-Communist. Any Communist that failed to follow the latest party line was sent off to the Gulags, or worse. And the party line changed every day, so there was no way to keep up with it.
If you think the religious are somehow good moral people who don't lie cheat and steal you need to look again. Simply because someone doesn't fear a fantasy doesn't make them automatically immoral and just because someone does fear a fantasy doesn't make them moral.
"Jesus Christ" "Ha ha you believe in a fictional character." I think the episode (Technically two but still) speaks for itself.
Aren't you tired of the carrot and stick routine? Either you are a good christian, and have to behave else you burn in hell? Why do people need to live in fear of the great unknown after death? I have the hardest time believing in any religion when you consider that there have thousands, maybe millions of different pantheons of gods over the course of history. It all comes down to Mankind's fear that once they die, that's it, it's over. Most people can't stand the concept that they won't live forever, and that they want to hope they go on until the end of time. What lunacy, and conceit.
Oh you mean like any other religious, idegolical, cultural wars before that? The point is, people are still going to have differnces in belief no matter who takes over as Mr. Popular.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Black_Book_of_Communism Every Communist is an atheist so atheism owns these killings. Atheism has killed 94 million people. I defy you to find any religion or idealogy that has killed more.
A warning??? From who?? My previous comment stands. You're not the type of Christian that deserves respect, in fact to the contrary.
"Oh my science!" Lol, yeah it's pretty funny. That's one thing I like about South Park; everyone gets (*)(*)(*)(*)ed with. Having Dawkins screwing Mr. Garrison after the sex change was pretty funny too.
