If they are protesting Christians because they are Christians rather than protesting a stance or opinion, then yes it is bigoted. I guess I would need to see an example of what you are referring to.
If a group of gays showed up at a Catholic festival and held signs saying that Catholics are going to hell, then yes they are bigots and should be prepared for some backlash.
This was a Muslim festival from what I understand. They were celebrating their heritage and their religion. They were not forcing their beliefs on anyone. It is no different than a Polish festival or a Policeman's picnic in the park.

 

They all do. They're told they are superior by the media, their liberal professors, and the insular liberal circles where they choose to live. They are very insecure people and need the constant reassurance by way of an endless feedback loop of moral and intellectual superiority.
