    Yesterday I'm driving home. With the heat index it had to be 110. I see people running. Someone please explain to me the concept of running and then running with the temp over 100. I just dont get it. Ive worked outside for years. I will never be convinced its healthy to run in that type of heat. At some point the stress on your body is very noticeable whether you are hydrated or not.

    Shangrila? Mary? Smartie? Smartie you run right? Right from the air conditioned car to the air conditioned house right? lol I run too. When I'm crossing the street and a speeding car is gunning for me. WOooo what a workout!

    When I was a kid I would catch them and sell them to the bait store. I earned a ridiculously small amount of money but it kept me busy..lol.

    So bizarre it's hotter up there in yankeeland than it is here. We haven't hit 100 in a coupla weeks now and have been enjoying late afternoon showers just like Hawaii!

    Well, not just like... except for the ocean and the beach and the mountains and the lush tropical jungles we're just like Hawaii.

    I drove 600 miles yesterday almost 10 hours of sitting behind the wheel of a car and I was a bit tired when I got home. I was a few miles out of Jax when I saw a gopher tortoise in the road poor thing. I swerved to miss it and looked in the rear view mirror in time to see a semi hit it... They are protected in some parts of the state but I guess on I 10 they are fair game.

    You betcha.. I would have been catching those rascals right and left. I had to go searching for them back then lifting up boards and brush piles..lol. It was a bit of work. I had a little wire box I would put them in till I could get them to the bait store..They make great fish bait.

    I had a boss one time who considered himself quite the ladies man. I was supv over a group of women and he'd come into our office every morning and say, "Howsssssssitgoing?" He thought he was so cute, it made us all sick. Everytime I hear somebody say that I think of Jon. *puke*
