There are no given facts when you're talking about things that may or may not happen in the future. You 'think' you'll be worse off under Romney, but don't we 'know' things are likely to stay the same... or get worse... under Obama?

I'm not saying he's INCAPABLE of doing anything different. I'm saying he doesn't think he NEEDS to do anything different. He just wants another 4 yrs to finish his agenda. He has no plan and no desire to do anything to help America's suffering middle class. I truly can't understand how someone who would've voted for McCain can support this diasterous president.

And BTW, what do you think Obamacare is if not a giant TAX on the American people? But you're more concerned about a few bucks coming outta your pocket?

    Tsk tsk.

Trust me, bird... the last thing we need is for Obama to do MORE. He needs to do things DIFFERENTLY so there's a chance the outcome will be different.

Like I said earlier... can't wait til the DNC next week so we can discuss Obama's 'NEW PLAN' for ending the misery many people in the middle class are feeling right now. With 64 million more Americans under the poverty line since he took office... he's got some 'splaning to do. I'll be front row center listening and will be happy to post a retraction if he comes up with a viable plan to make things better.

Wonder if the president of Planned Parenthood or the GLBT congresswoman speakers will explain it all to us? Or maybe they'll wait and let Biden do that.

LOL @ under taxation. Is that a new Dem term?

P.S. The GOP can't spend a dime w/o Dems saying it's OK. You know, opposite of how Obamacare was shoved down our throats?

So,then what's your point of your op? This is what "Loud & Clear" was talking about-it's like you want to get out your point of view, but when someone offers their point of view-you disregard it-regardless of facts or sensable opinion--
You want the POTUS to end the middle class suffering-so do I-How does OBAMA do that-he has to spend money-that is what this whole debate is about-you say he shouldn't spend more money, but do things differently-Like what? I wish he could fire the dead beat Congress-(they sure could be doing more to help our country)that would be different, huh, but see, that's not going to happen, because that is not the way our Government is set up-
What your saying is that you think OBAMA should have waved a magic wand & everything for everyone would be better instantly-well,some people have trouble making up a $100 loss-OBAMA was handed a $17 TRILLION GLOBAL LOSS with what amounts to pennies handed to him from the HOR to get our economy going again. He's doing it,but just imagine how much better we would be if there was more co-operartion from the GOP that actually got us into this mess.
Am happy to hear you will be tuning into the Democratic Convention-It will be a breath of fresh air for you to hear positive instead of the negative-negative-negative you've been hearing from the GOP Convention.
Feel free to read our platform-you will find it totally different from the GOP's----OBAMA 2012

I simply wanted to know who's putting politics ahead of the welfare of America's middle class. I've learned there are quite a few of you who are brave enough to admit you support Obama, but not brave enough to fly an Obama flag.

    Interesting.

And again... Obama must drastically change directions if he's going to improve things for suffering Americans. Take jobs, for example. He hasn't met with his own jobs council in months now. How do you think he plans to create more jobs? Does he have a plan?

(again... FORGET THE MONEY, WE'RE BROKE! HE CAN'T BUY HIMSELF OUTTA THIS MESS!)

My God Bill. I put that out there to see if you'd do what you just did. Kind of a rating system I use to measure people. And I got my answer.

Now, one further test so please answer honestly. What is the sound of one hand clapping?

You call it manipulation... I call it pointing out what a mistake it will be to vote for more of the same. If you didn't have doubts about voting for 4 more years of Obama, you wouldn't even have responded to this thread, huh?

Obviously, you're not worried about middle class Americans suffering. How 'bout Blacks? Is it OK with you that unemp for young black men is over 40%? (Dated article... unemp among all Blacks is at 16.7% in August 2012.)

A vote for Barack Obama = 4 more years of suffering for the black community. If that's OK with you, there's no problem.

Since you threw my name into this I'll respond. I'm in agreement with SMW. Usually am.

There is a drastic difference between thinking government is the center of economy of this country and understanding how it is the people who are the center of our economy. The big government belief imposes itself upon those who create or take advantage of opportunity. Those who understand where free enterprise stems from know it is better to provide an environment of creation so that the economy roars forth.

There are those who think the economy is directed by tweaks and nudges of nerds sitting in government offices or in the Federal Reserve. Sure, it happens. But even without a government or the Federal Reserve people will, among themselves, create an economy of their own. This isn't a chicken or egg analogy. People are the source. The people know best how to invest their own money, how to produce something from nothing. It is the beginning. Obama doesn't get that at all. He has gone out of his way to not only ignore this very basic fact, but to ruin the chance of it fulfilling itself. In fact, he demonizes it. How can you support someone who does such a thing? I can't.

    Woosh.

I've never once claimed Obama is the best president ever. And I'll never intend to. He's made a few mistakes along the way. And I don't support a lot of the military choices he makes. (except for killing Osama. That was awesome.)

But he's several large leaps ahead of anyone the republican party can put forward.

Maybe instead of whining about my question... Obama supporters would like to post articles about anybody benefiting from Obama's term in office. Let's see, we've got fat cat unions, wall street bankers, giant corporate 'too big to fail' CEO's... surely you can think of a few more.

In the meantime, here's another group that's being hit doubly hard. Interest rates on bonds, CDs and money market accounts — staples of the retirement crowd's portfolio — are at historic lows. Here's more:

No (*)(*)(*)(*) interest rates are low. We're coming out of a recession. They'd be low under any president. Christ.

Coming out? With the election of Mitt Romney, maybe... under Obama? 4 more years of suffering... guaranteed.

Yes. Coming out. Our GDP has been growing since 2009. We haven't been in a recession for 3 years.

growing by an average of 1.5% We're used to GDP growth between 5%-6% annually and we won't accept this lackluster, subpar performance as the "new normal". We can do better and we should.

That's what happens when you block every jobs bill that you come across and refuse to pass any of your own. Thanks republicans.
