Why would god punish women with a period every month?

Seems like pure cruelty. How is this the act of a loving god?

This is a religious section, not a section on showing why women is better than man;

Many a 'she' can suffer and bleed for seven days and still live, the 'son of god' died in three.

 

So either this all-loving "god" fellow is cruel, or maybe he doesn't really exist.

 

I guess its perspective and attitude. I'm approaching menopause----and closer to the time when my reproductive system will shut down. The closer I get---the more appreciative I am of how God created women to bring life into the world.

Why would evolution do this? Why would a random process do this, when clearly, over billions of years of evolution, there are obviously more efficient ways of doing this?

Women only have so many eggs, their monthly menstruation reminds them their supply is constantly dwindling. It's not punishment think of it as a reminder. In fact, if a woman is in a committed relationship, her man is subject to the same 'reminder.' Apparently God has a dark sense of humor. LOL

I guess for progressives the idea is that life is a punishment. Women's periods are actually the loss of life which even some indigenous tribal religions here in the US understand. So instead of celebrating life, progressives wish to take it and turn the cycle of life into a "punishment" for women. Why am I not surprised?

THe simple fact of teh matter is that over billions of years, evolution has shown time and again to have favored the most efficient systems over inefficient system through natural selection. Yet now, here are a group of atheists claiming the opposite so they can mock God.

Evolution, as I said, isn't a head office. It's a natural process. Adaptation is part of that broader idea. Efficient life-forms which get in early (sharks, crocodiles) don't need to adapt and stay pretty much as they have for many hundreds of thousands of years.
