OK Hill. Most of us would agree that it was your helm on security. But while that may be the crime, it ain't the cover-up. You didn't run out the fake story to cover political ass. You didn't send Susan Rice out to be Obama's ho that Sunday on 5 talk shows.

I can see right through you Hill. And kudos. You have now left Obama teed up to be rightful jackass who directed the cover-up.

 

The Obama administration lied to the American people, insisting that the reason for this attack was an internet video.
Obama has too big an ego to admit a planned terrorist attack on the anniversary of 9/11 occured on his watch.

 

Yup. And Hillary has now cut to the chase. She will not go under his bus on this. She just said so.

 

Is that supposed to trump the actions of a former Republican President who was repeatedly warned of the forthcoming 9/11 attacks and chose to ignore the warnings?

When the attack on 9/11/01 came, Bush never lied about it. He said what happened and told the truth about it.

Do you honestly think that? What would he have gained if he lied? There's no lack of information spreading, espcially during an election year. He would have been caught on it, and made the fool.

 

So Hillary has decided to never run for president by falling on a naked sword, but as 82 said- it does not absolve Obama from the cover-up.

If they want to target more of our Embassy folks, they are gonna get a few more. Britain did the right thing in Benghazi, in closing its consulate. Hindsight is 20-20. Reagan went ahead with the Marine's in Lebanon against the advice of a few. Smart folks still make decisions that do not work out. They are 'smart' because they do not repeat them.

Its the cover-up that has many PO'd. Its the lies. Hillary took her portion of the sword. A portion she may be late accepting, but which she never disavowed. But she sure as heck was not behind the cover-up. State has said from the beginning that it was terrorists, in a well-planned operation.

Its fundamental parenting. Responsibility 101. You are gonna make mistakes. Just don't lie about it.
