What is going on? Children have been taken to a Kermit's Death Mill for years to be terminated...and were. Now "they" want to charge/convict him of murder?

Once a majority of Supremes found an absolute power for taking the life of the unborn child by his or her mother. Since that time, Fifty million plus unborn children have been killed on American soil. There are those who believe the child has it coming if mommy says so. Kermit thought so and hopes the jury truly is comprised of his peers.

If you need something done you go to someone who can do it. Kermit could do it.

Once heard an old WWII Pacific Theatre former combat Marine (in his late 60's or early 70's) being interviewed for a documentary state" I had no problem killing the Japs then and I'd have no problem killing them today." Any Marine and those with knowledge of the Pacific campaign understood his statement in light of the fanatical tactics and homicidal/suicidal mindset of the Japanese soldier.

There is no doubt that Kermit is just as dedicated to carrying out his mission and destroying the enemy as the Marine noted above surely was. Only difference is the Marines fought their way through hell, they didn't create it or torture children or callously sever their spinal cords.

    1278451342409.jpg

The WWII Japanese soldier was just a few decades ahead of the Supremes on the value of innocent life. Come to think of it ...Kermit would fit in with the emperor's army quite nicely.

    What was he charged with?

    What was he charged with?

Was he charged with performing abortions?

If he wasn't YOU ALSO are in the wrong forum.

I guess in here you can not only hijack threads but almost the entire forum

Oh, and only the "seriously misinformed" think American soldiers NEVER committed atrocities but hey let's discuss it...it's as ON Topic as murder.

The question is, what if anything will he be convicted of?

People showed at his death mill and made a pact with him for an expected outcome, no? Come on now the guy was just "following through" on the blood pact/contract wasn't he?

The babies were inside their mommies until he removed them. He was performing abortions according to reported testimony, perhaps you should share your concerns of mischaracterization with the prosecuting attorney? Still, just don't get the hypocrisy of putting him on trial for exactly what he was empowered and contracted to do.

The WWII Japanese soldier was quite a progressive practitioner of the visceral arts. Why are you bringing up atrocities?

Thanks for stopping by. Run along now.

    Lets get some facts here, this doctor actually broke at least two of Pennsylvania's abortions laws;

    1. Performing abortions on post 24 week pregnancies
    2. not having a second doctor present in abortions post viability in order for any "born alive" fetuses to receive medical care

add to that -that he is accused of killing born alive fetuses which having been born alive possess the rights of the individual, even if they had not been born alive he would still have broken state laws, and would have been charged.

Here is a full list of each states restrictions (or lack of) concerning abortions - http://www.guttmacher.org/statecenter/spibs/spib_PLTA.pdf

If he is guilty then he should face the penalty imposed .. but this has little to do with the overall debate on abortion.

    What was he charged with?

    Why can't you answer????

It seems VERRRRY important to you yet you can't tell me what he's charged with????
Is he charged with a criminal act? Then why can't you tell me what he's charged with....can't be doing a legal abortion because DUH they're legal.....

Oh and the reference to "babies inside their mommies" is just too cutsey.....

YOU brought up military atrocities ...can't face the FACT that Americans committed them TOO???

Guilty? He has performed admirably, one snip-one kill. Met the prime mission goal.

Born alive fetuses (A fetus also spelled foetus, fœtus, faetus, or fætus, is a developing mammal or other viviparous vertebrate after the embryonic stage and before birth) have rights? However mommy issued a death warrant that trumps the developing mammal or viviparous vertebrate's right. Really who are we to say mother doesn't have the power to subjugate that mammal's right to life The death merchant worked his craft. Its all good. Don't get hung up on the insignificant details. Don't look at the inconsistencies or be distracted by the politics. Hypocrisy by the load.

Rules favor the empowered because they are the empowered.

8 days means the jury is having a hard time reaching a verdict.

If there is no physical evidence to suggest that the babies were alive at the time their spines were snipped, he should not be convicted of murder. Unless an ME can prove that they were alive and breathing, you can't take the word of the employees who helped Gosnell. They are as bad as he is.

    In your opinion.

If court testimony can be considered factual (verdict will decide that) then it is so and thus relevant. Will have to wait and see. If your guy is innocent well good on you and yours. He had his day in court and was found just another licensed practitioner going about his craft.

The definition of a fetus may be categorized as a thought but I suspect it is factual too.

Look I'm sure Kermit, be it in the US or UK or the whole wide world, is the only licensed abortionist who practices this way. The social sacrament may still be taken by its followers.

Which is just as relevant as yours.

He is not "my guy", as much as you would like to project your opinion into making all pro-choice people look like something they are not i'm afraid, for most, it doesn't work and just stinks of desperation.

Definition of fetus, is what it is.

and I'm sure there are others just like him, doesn't mean they all are or that it gives you, or anyone else, the right to tar all with the same brush.

Gosnell Found Guilty of First Degree Murder in ‘House of Horrors’ Abortion, Murder Trial.
    http://www.theblaze.com/stories/201...-horrors-verdict-is-in-results-expected-soon/

No doubt about the appeal. He'll receive the death sentence. OK, I simply and strongly suspect that multiple 1st degree/aggravated murder charge convictions will demand death. He won't be taken by the State, he'll die during the appeal process (OK, again my best guess).

The fellow was only doing what those who were paying him to do it wanted. This man is a worldly success and is being maligned for a job well done. When evil acts are done the reward is often an allowance for the practitioner to aspire and perform greater acts of evil.

Can you see it all? Can you say hypocrisy? One breath...can't say movement because babies in the womb move.

Kermit, he did the bidding of his client and the State and is now simply being treated as a muppet.

    And you could be right.

Yes he was, illegally .. had he been performing abortions legally he wouldn't ever have stood trial, the fact remains this is not an issue to do with abortion laws, this is an issue of a man performing illegal abortions (post 24 weeks) and killing live born, had he kept to the law then he wouldn't have been performing post 24 week abortions in the first place .. I think that the pro-life campaign are just using this to fuel their propaganda war.

Well as most abortions post viability are illegal then I see no hypocrisy . .the way you are swinging this, it seems that you are saying that all abortions are post viability.

Of the client I may tend to agree, of the State not at all .. the State does not allow post viability abortions except in medical circumstances.

Simply this man took it upon himself to break the law, he was caught and convicted and as such will suffer the consequences for his actions, just as any other criminal does when they break the law. The only relevance this has to do with abortion laws is to further show that roe vs wade is, in essence, correct .. that a fetus post viability has more standing/rights than one pre viability.

Tsk, tsk you find irrelevancy in all things that differ from your political view of abortion. In that you are most consistent.

No I find irrelevance in things that have no bearing on the topic/debate, everything in the post that this reply was for is purely you own opinion with no evidence to support it.

    Your post
"Guilty? He has performed admirably, one snip-one kill. Met the prime mission goal.

highlighted areas are you opinion with no evidence to support them, considering the topic item being "No verdict on eighth day of U.S. abortion doctor deliberations" would you care to show how your post is relevant?

Oh it's not just my political view, but my scientific and common sense view as well, where as for you being pro-life is probably your religious view.

When does human life begin? For a man of science and worldly sense you will be able to slam me on this quite nicely.

Well if you want the factual answer human life began a long time ago, but I suspect you are thinking more in terms of the abortion debate.
    There is no doubt that a human life begins at conception so why would I "slam" you on this, the question still remains when does a human being begin .. Let us take the definition of a human being, then you can tell me if a single cell human life meets the criteria;

Human being - a man, woman, or child of the species Homo sapiens, distinguished from other animals by superior mental development, power of articulate speech, and upright stance. - Oxford Dictionary

and while you are at it, if you feel like it, tell me when a human life becomes a person and why?

No linguistician but "when does" could be present and future tense, not the past.

Infants find it quite challenging to strike an upright stance...is the infant's intellect superior to an eleven month old German Shepherd? Or vocabulary superior to a gifted parrot? Using your specifically worded Oxford definition as shared, are infants human beings?

    Word games can be fun.

Well, you are a human being and I would guess with some playful reluctance you might even allow me the same status ;)

I would say a human being can only begin with life. If the part of your human life, within your mother's womb was taken or deleted, terminated even, where would you (any of us) be? None of us can be who we are without that part of our life.

Word games are fun but the truth is abortion kills someone even if their existence is only known to their mother, the abortionist/staff and (for those who believe) their Creator.

Our lives follow a process. Even your Oxford definition speaks of development in word and by example. Some say we never stop learning...growing. I would submit to you that at the very beginning of our lives we have DNA coding that is uniquely our own...from "let there be life" to our natural or abrupt end. That DNA is our foundation and our structural building block, it affects every aspect of our being. It is ours for all are days.

You may not consciously recall your earliest years but that does not mean you did not live or exist then, it didn't make you less human. You progressed then as you do now through moments linked by time from yesterday to this moment and to what is to come..

Our life and our being are intertwined. When you attempt to separate one from the other, or see one as distinct over the other, both are diminished, all is lost.

What is "all" and why would it be lost whatever it is?

You say, ""If the part of your human life, within your mother's womb was taken or deleted, terminated even, where would you (any of us) be?""

Where would we be? Well, "we" wouldn't exist.
    So?
Humans are in no danger of dying out anytime soon, there's way too many of them...

Fair point, a miss-read on my part.

I would say yes, infants have the ability through a fully functional brain, to learn . .a fetus according to medical research does not have a fully functional brain until at least the 3rd trimester.

According to some more radical pro-lifers I am not a human being :)

I would say human life can only begin with the combination of sperm & egg (though with the advant of cloning that may well be not the only way for human life to start) without those things we wouldn't be here, but neither would we care.. A human being to me is much more than the DNA we carry.

This is where we disagree, there is no "someone".

That is not strictly correct, chimera twin or absorbed twin have two distinct DNA's contained within one body, such as this boy

    3423621.jpg

Would you consider the parasitic twin he has on his chest a human being, given that its DNA is completely unique . is it deserving of the same rights as the boy, if not, why not?

Scientist now think (due to better ultrasound) that one in eight multifetus pregnancies end in a single birth, it has also been found that the DNA of the absorbed twin can be found in the body of the surviving one .. including whole organs.
Stranger than Fiction cases of vanishing twin syndrome, two early stage embryos fuse into a single embryo containing two unique sets of DNA. The surviving twin becomes what;s known as a chimera essentially two people in one body. Chimeras can have different sets of DNA in different body parts. For instance a male chimera can have one type of DNA in his skin cells but what appears to be an entirely different person's DNA in his sperm cells.
A 2003 study in the New England Journal of Medicine by Dr Margot Kruskall of the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts, reported the case of a mother who required a kidney transplant. All three of her natural sons were tested as potential donors, but only one appeared to be her biological son, although she gave birth to all of them. Genetic tests revealed that the patient was a chimera a physical blend of fraternal twin sisters and her ovaries produced eggs belonging to both twins, thus she could give birth to three sons who were genetic half-brothers; one of them sharing DNA with his mother and two sons sharing DNA with their vanished "aunt."
According to the November 2003 New Scientist magazine, Some chimeras do have unusual physical features. For example, one girl was discovered to be a chimera because her eyes were different colors, one brown, the other hazel. Others have come to light when doctors investigated problems with their reproductive systems, and found that they had structures from both male and female reproductive organs as a result of having cells of both sexes in their bodies. But most probably go through life utterly unaware of their unusual constitution.

Once we can separate the humanity from a life it is much easier to take that life. Dehumanize your target and the act is a simple mechanical act. "All" is our humanity. Our humanity allows us to feel empathy/sympathy for others. We're really just meatsuits without it.

No human being has the right to use another human being's body against their will for anything, including life support. Whether a fetus is ever considered a person under the law or not women should still be free to separate themselves from the fetus at any stage of pregnancy. A woman's medical authority over her own body should not be stripped from her based solely on the status of her uterus. Abortion is akin to self-defense of one's own body from unwanted physical, emotional, psychological changes as well as major risks.

A woman knows her own body and personal capabilities of performing the physical act of carrying and bearing a child, as well as her capabilities of raising that child or her emotional strength to give it up for adoption far better than anyone else. She should always be free to make this extremely personal, life-changing choice for herself and strangers who know nothing about her, her medical health/history and her personal life should not be able to interfere.

I agree....when poor women and their children are demonized by righty/Anti-Choicers who have no sympathy and could never empathize because THEY will never be poor, desperate, and pregnant, nor have they a shred of human decency in their tight dead hearts, they have dehumanized women in their minds to the level of cattle who need to be controlled and punished...and ceratinly "not one penny of THEIR taxes should go to feed and house those CHILDREN "" born to women who do not abort. Yes, they ARE less than human.
