Half of Mississippi thinks interracial marriage should be illegal

While the rest of country moves forward Mississippi remains stuck in the dark times that were the 50's, possible even further back. A poll showing 46% believe not only is interracial marriage "immoral" it should also be illegal and criminal. And its no surprise these very same idiots also support other idiots like Palin and Huckabee. Im not surprised though I mean what do you expect from the poorest and most uneducated state in the nation? These people are anti-American.

While I actually have no problem believing that is probably a widely held viewpoint down in Mississippi which is arguably the anus of America, the PPP poll was only for 400 people. That is a ridiculously small sample size for a state wide poll. We had polls ad nauseum in my state for the recall and most of them had well over 1000 participants at a minimum.

As for who made up the poll it said registered Republican voters and I am going to go out on a limb and say that very few of them were probably black. Just googled it and 98% of Republicans voting for the last election were white so there is no way to spin this as including blacks.

The comments about Jewish people wanting to keep to their own groups is dead on and has been established for quite some time. Many families from India also disapprove of their children marrying non-Indian people.
