    People can make whatever stupid polls they want (as you've proven). The question should be, should mods be allowed to remove stupid polls, and to that the answer is yes, yes they should.

    Yes, but the decision to remove a (stupid or troll) poll is to the owner(s)/moderator(s) of a forum.

    Look, as far as I am concerned, it is a person's right to do just about anything they want, as long as it is not illegal or violate the rules of the forum. I was just poking fun at some of the polls here is all.

    I only object to the stupid polls that are really opinion pieces- and that anyone would take them seriously.

    Too many are like: "Should Bob Smith stop beating his wife?"

    Most trolls post just to get noticed. Or if they're paid just to pad their post report to get money. Put an upper limit on the number of posts reported. Anything above say 500 just says 500+. Or better yet just delete the Post number entirely.
    limit the number of threads you can start to 10. Starting more threads requires you to delete one of those threads. That should eliminate most of the really inane posts and would make the paid trolls go elsewhere.
