A friend of mine in Pakistan posted this as her status update on Facebook and it really touched me since this is what I as a Muslims and millions of Muslims around the world believe. Don't let the Islamphobes fool you. There are extremists in every race, nation, culture and the Islamophobes are just another group of them.

 

Islamophobes get quite confused when Muslims are attacked by other Muslims.

 

Earlier in Mohammeds life he had a peaceful message. It wasnt until his later years when he became the head of a totalitarian murderous cult. If more muslims ignored his later years it would be a peaceful religion. But mohammed (pieces be upon him) is holy eh, and everything he did and said is like a role model for muslims.

Some people, I guess, believe America is an Empire in the making and is on a quest to conquer the world.

It's a comically far out notion, but lets assume it's true for the sake of this example.

Then, assume that frictions between American Conservatives and Progressives increase to the point where members of both sides war with each other wounding and killing hundreds every month.

Wouldn't the growing Empire still grow?

Wouldn't members of the two ideologies still be at each others throats?

End of that example. Now, we look at Islam.

No matter what the fundamentalists do to the more modern Muslims, or vice versa, Islam is still growing and gaining new converts (but CERTAINLY NOT through coercion ) and taking more new land.

An aggressive Islam is our problem.

It took me a while to recognize an entirely hidden category of Muslim.

The category is that of Modernized Muslim. The category we'd prefer all Muslims to be.

However, because lying IS permitted in cases of self defense and/or as you said, in furtherance of Islam, I tended to focus on the belief that all the posters who denied the negative aspects of Islam's practice was lying to help the 'religion' expand.

Well, now I believe many, maybe, most Muslims on these pages are interpreting the Koran the way we'd prefer they interpret it.

We just can't tell if what these folks say is to be believed or not. And to keep ourselves from being fooled again we view any Muslim here as a jihadist or a sleeper cell member.

 

I want to know why you are looking for friends on the internet, with ideological opponents no less.

Clearly english is not your first language. We dont have to be friends to live in peace with each other. I choose my friends carefully.

There is not a possible way to interpret Islamic teachings and the life of Muhammed as peaceful. They are very very good at deception. Arabs in general are very smart people and should not be underestimated.

There are two types of muslims: obedient, informed and practicing. Disobedient, nonpracticing and/or ignorant of Islam.

Right now they are 1% American population. If we are stupid enough to buy their peace stories and let them reach 5% we will see their true colors, and we will HEAR them loud and clear.

Listen, there are "moderate" Muslims all throughout the islamic world. Where the (*)(*)(*)(*) were they when christians were genocided in these nations? I dont care where they were because my people are dying every day from these savages. Leave it to muslims to consider offensive language more threatening than genocide and minority persecution.

Yes Islam always claims they were Defensive Wars. They weren't and never were. To Islam it is a defensive war the moment the other side refuses to surrender to whatever. And Please don't act like Muslims killing other Muslims is something New. 4 of Muhammed's immediate successors died at the hands of other Muslims. And the other was for that time and place already and old man when he took the office and died an old man's death within couple of years. The Average Muslim remains a Muslim because to do otherwise incurrs a death sentence. If you are a male there are certain benefits if one has a heart bent in a certain way. You are almost literally a God over your own household as the slightest trespass against your wishes can result in death. Against that however is set the problem that no Mulslim husband can ever be sure of his wifes love for the same reason that no master is ever assured the love of a slave.

And no I do not hate you. You came into existence as a scourge to be used when those of the true faith strayed from Godliness. To this day that remains your only reason for existance lest you repent and turn wholly to the one true and living God as opposed to the man and his bastardized creation you now follow.

 

And which capital city of Islam is going to teach us, give us the coordinates of that city and the well-defined borders of that threatening nation? Then we can be “friends.”
