Frankly- and seriously- Americans should force their government to accept the offer.

It's impossible to say what percentage of Americans have yet to realise that one of the world's worst abusers of human rights presides over Washington. The once-respected nation of freedom and equality has been undermined and had its noble heart pared out by greed from within. Nobody really requires reminding that support for the injustices perpetrated by Israel are largely responsible for this- but I'll serve the reminder anyway. Believe it today- Ecuador is better loved and respected than the US of AIPAC. America now hopes to maintain its position through generating fear. Check your history books. Such results are well documented.

    You are dreaming Moon

For what we see and read most Americans are more interested in a Kardashian baby name than their government madness

You just have to read here to get an idea of both their ignorance of the world around them their stupidity and laziness to make any effort to change it

 OK, so these forums are a tad light on enlightened Americans. Nevertheless they exist in strength and are morally united with intelligent civilians worldwide. In combination, we all form a far more powerful army than the combined strengths of the professional oppressors who oppose us.

This and the statement Obama made that he won't try to get Snowden anyway points to the claim that if this guy feels threatened serious leaks will start flooding the internet. I doubt Corea is willing to ruin relations with their major trade partner , this smells like an agreement.

Woodie Guthrie would scoff at your pretenses, moon, and I am sure he would not appreciate a fangirl of the rights-repressive regime in Tehran wrapping herself in his image.

PS. This forum is far too light on enlightened Limeys. ;)

Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak has spoken out in support of NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden, calling him a hero who acted “from his heart.”

Snowden is a true hero. The traitors are the talking heads from the NSA that lied to congress stating that they were not listening to phone calls, reading emails, and so forth on average Americans.

Ha ha ha, touche for Equador. Nice move. Now, let me run an idea by you, Moon. since both America and Israel so disliked and disdained by Gaza and the West Bank, should not they both allocate the exact amount of money they receive from both US and Israel to promote Human Rights in US and Israel? After all, you seem to aprove of what Equador has done? :roflol::roflol:

Your post makes no sense. Neither does terminating it with two sprayed insects.

Lighten up Moon, you're the one who always complain about Israeli and US human rights violations... let's have palestinians go the way of Equador and donate all the money they receive from Israel and US to foster human rights in these two countries? I mean the Palestine is a real country just like Equador, is it not? :roflol::roflol::roflol:

Presides over Washington... you're referring to the People of the United States or perhaps you trying to see the bigger picture and are referring to God.

Ecuador teaching the USA about human rights is a joke... They might have something to teach the palistinians, Iran and Hammas but they don't have much of a record.

Gotta love it when a mouse roars, almost as stupid as throwing rocks at tanks... ALMOST but not quite.

I say we accept their $23 million offer then immediately cut off all aid to them. Also cancel their little frozen broccoli trade agreement with us.

Oh trust me when I tell you that they need us A LOT more than we need them.

This is one of those times where I say we sail the Pacific Fleet down there and hang around for awhile with a huge sign that said "Hey remember when you said (*)(*)(*)(*) us?".

Little peon country thinks it's cute to give us the finger.

These are the exact reasons why I'm so glad I'm not in charge. It wouldn't be "Don't give him asylum or it'll damage our trade and aid relations" it would be "If you give him asylum we are going to whoop your little ass".

Egotistical and pseudo-patriotic nonsense. Both nations are signatories of the Inter-American Treaty of Reciprocal Assistance (the Rio Treaty) of 1947, the Western Hemisphere's regional mutual security treaty.

It's probably a function of the intellectual black hole created by the concentration of ignorant hate mongers. Enlightened Americans have other places to discuss politics with INTELLIGENT opponents.

You see the big problem here is that the percentage of well-informed and politically educated americans is far way more smaller than the percentage of those who are not. This makes it hard for that small percentage of people that know the truth about our government to force them to make a fair and well-balanced decision that doesn't involve the American government limiting the freedom and torturing the person they're seeking. Since when does the American government punish american citizens for exposing the evil that exists in system? Well to answer my own question, ever since the American government started passing laws to limit the freedom of free speech and spy on people after of course, you know what.
