Well, it's gratifying when a servant of the US tells it like it is. Mattis should join with Jimmy Carter- and a myriad of others- to create a platform for the truth about Israel which will be a great service to their country. Americans have paid enough in blood and treasure . It's time to force the neoZionists back into thier own country and join with the EU in ending the unsustainable Zionist ideal of expansion.

Right ! Kick their sorry asses today !

The above is symptomatic of the Zionists expansionist mentality and their total repudiation of international law and the norms pertaining to 21st century civilized sovereign entities. Israel, and the warmongering states that attempt to legitimize it, are a stain on the whole of humanity.

    The article has more:

Former U.S. general: Settlements liable to turn Israel into an apartheid state

Gen. (ret.) James Mattis says America pays a security price every day for the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and predicts Israel to attack Iranian nukes

    then

...warning that the continued construction of settlements is liable to turn Israel into an apartheid state.

Why would it take a general to point out the apartheid, genocide - ethnic cleaning?

Israel is unsustainable as a religious state. It dont take a general to see that.

You could well be right. All we know about these talks is that the suspected reason is to make the Palestinians look bad. They have of course done this before so may be what they are hoping for to with this so, no intention of resolving the situation attitude.

The neoZionists can engage in the theft of Palestinian territory for thousands of squats and there's not even a fart from Kerry, let alone cries of outrage. But if just one rockette is fired in response...........

The constant rounds of futile "negotiations" will be deemed by the warmongering US and its ME bulldog, as having a reached a "successful" conclusion at the point at which Israel has grabbed all of Palestine - and ONLY then.

Can Europeans and Americans honestly blame the Israelis for their bad deeds, when we have supported, condoned, protected and armed them in their plundering? Can we blame them when we just got done destroying Libya and are currently trying to destroy the Mother Nation of Europe and America?

We are supposed to be Christ's People, yet we slander him every day and do terrible things. He has already declared that He knows us not except as deserving a heavy Judgment.
He has already declared that Judgment: When we, the Salt, lose our saltiness, we are fit for nothing but to be thrown out and cast under the feet of men.
    Matthew 5:13

That's what they do, moon.. They provoke and provoke until they can get just one or a couple Palestinians to finally retaliate with rockets (provided they aren't even false flag Mossad rockets). Then go SEE, it's THEM who's the problem, THEY don't want peace (blaming ALL Palestine for one or two people).. Then use that as justification for further oppression and further provocation. Look at the last time.. Palestinians eventually shot some rockets, but what they forget is that the Israelis were shooting live rounds, injuring and killing, unarmed peaceful protesters nearby to the fence that belongs to Palestine, on Palestinian land.

Anybody knows that if you go on someone else's land and kill people there, you will provoke a response. Does anybody expect kids not to throw stones?

That's right Happy Fun Dude. We Americans and our nice Israeli boy friend love to dictate to other people and kill them if they don't obey quick enough.

The best way to contribute to the intellectual quality of a discussion is to comment on the topic... I know this general is not the only one with expertise to suggest the same or similar. I tend to agree. Think of it like this. I reject the notion that the "terrorists" (remember this is a very diverse group of people with different agendas) just hate us for our freedom. I think we make the fight harder by providing motivation/recruiting by providing them incentive. Support for Israel plays a role. Even AQ claimed this was a major factor behind the 9/11. Other things are a factor as well, such as drone strikes.

Now people think I suggest capitulation, and that's not true. If someone makes war, by all means kill them. But the general is right in that policies that don't work towards that end, and don't provide us benefit, should be abandoned. And supporting the settlements plays a role. It provides incentive for terrorists, but it doesn't benefit our lives, nor does it hurt the true terrorist enemies.

I would wonder what other people think about the General's comments.

The word "anti-semite" is a propaganda word designed to slander and silence opponents.
The word has been cemented into people via Pavlovian conditioning so that they salivate hatred or guilt towards anyone who is labelled that by one of the system's high priests of war.

In reality a Semite is a descendant of Shem. And Shem was a Gospel man. Any Semite who does not follow the Gospel of Christ, "nature's God" is not of Shem, not a Semite.

Hence any Israelite who is anti-Christ is also cut off and not a part of Israel.

The invaders of Syrian Palestine pretend to be Israel, but are basically Ashkenazi of Japheth. And, even if they are pure blood descendants of Judah, they are anti-Christs like the Judah that tried to murder his brother Joseph and are cut off and not a part of Israel or Judah.
See Romans 2:28-29 on definition of a "Jew" or Judah.

Nobody ever asked me if I want to support Israel and sure as hell there has never been a referendum in this country on Israel. As far as I can tell, Netanyahu calls AIPAC and the money and support faucet is turned on, no questions asked. From the media to the legislators to the financiers, I don't think there is a non-Zionist involved anywhere in the process.

Is it not possible that maybe - just MAYBE - it's the Syrians who are destroying themselves? Assad is FAR from an angel, and I'd be willing to bet 99% of the rebels don't give an Obama about the US, they're just spoiling for a fight in the name of Allah. It's high time we stopped placing the blame elsewhere and put it where it really lies - in the hands of everyone in Syria itself.

Yeah, but you know that applies to individuals and not entire nations, right? So long as there are a set number of honorable people in some place, God spares judgement as He said to Abraham concerning Sodom and Gomorrah - and as much as you may think otherwise, there are still enough honorable people in the US. Granted, you might not find many of them in Vegas, Chicago, or Detroit, but still -

Israel simply has no choice at this moment, its better the European made that move than nothing at all but it wasnt best conducted because they included extremly sensative issues together with this boycott and Israel "has to agree", no, it takes time, it depands on the other side as well not just us, so for now we say no, still the peace talk continue.

No, I don't think you are right here if you are talking about the Syrians before outside interference. The Syrian protestors began with 3 no's. No to sectarianism, no to violence and no to foreign intervention. In the beginning the people who moved over from the army took to protecting non violent, non sectarian protests.

Check out open democracy articles to confirm this. It is also confirmed every now and then on various news sources, meeting people who have for instance given up just now but still want and work for the kind of revolution they were working for

It was when foreign money came in to the bank accounts of people who had deserted from the Assad military that they took to attacking rather than defending and to be frank at that time the people's revolution which began with the best intents was lost.

Like I said while the revolution was just a Syrian affair it had 3 no's - no to sectarianism, no to violence and no to outside interference. Certainly as far as our news told us these were met with violence from Assad but the picture became far far worse when foreign money came in, after about 6 months I think, and the FSA started attacking and giving up the original aims of the revolution on the premise that such people were non starters. Since then we have seen the FSA and it's Al Qaeda 'helpers' going through various degrees of disarray so that the ordinary Syrian came to experience them either as thieves the FSA or terrifying Al Qaeda, so much so that a month or two ago either the UN or Nato had reckoned that about 80% of the population would rather have Assad.

Since then as you will know things have got even worse with all the 'rebel' groups fighting each other and god knows what.

I do not believe the Syrian people did it to themselves. Their revolution began with values that could have built a good nation. Foreign interference stopped that. Obviously the Saudis and Qatar have been sending in money and weapons. Western Governments have certainly been training them, how much giving money I am not sure.

Please tell me the clowns in my bozo bin are not all saying that the civil war in Syria is the fault of the Americans. Are they saying that? How the heck is it my fault that some crazy muzzie in Syria is trying to kill some other crazy muzzie in Syria? I have never been to Syria, don't hang out with any Syrians, and have never sent anything to Syria (or any country bordering Syria, for that matter).

To cause an anti attitude in readers of this news (millions), this attitude will have political influence, because a politician/leader or party can take the same anti stance, and this way people are organized. A general is a more trusted person than a politician? Look at Egypt, the army is winning trust over the population, big problem for their freedom, because the army served the state 'under' Mubarak and Morsi.

So to you it is some conspiracy?

Is it possible that like helen thomas, that once in a while some people are just honest and may even slip with mentioning that perhaps 'we' screwed up?

I dont have a problem with being wrong and admitting it. And that is perhaps why, i could never be a politician.

In many ways, sure. i dont trust politicians and a general can become as corrupt as a politician, when given too much authority.

The US served under bush babies. Does that mean, the whole military is a bunch of corrupt sobs?

Heck, we tore iraq up and not a one wmd. Who is responsible? 'we the people' are, for allowing such corruption, without accountability.

I'll grant you that there IS some foreign interference going on, and I should have been more clear on that point in my post. But most of that interference is coming from the Saudis. I think the amount of US involvement is OVERstated, and likely by Our Magnificent Messiah himself, and the amount of Syrians involved in the madness is UNDERstated.

Well, EVERYTHING is America's fault here so if you put everyone on this forum who was part of the Blame America First crowd, you'd have maybe five or six people left :roflol: - but Alexa shouldn't be in your ignore list; she's pretty smart. Heck, I even took Moon off ignore last week so my list is clear.

    ....and just to prove it;

It comes as quite a shock. I have never heard any mainstream US politician tell some truth about Israel before.

    Mark this day well.

So both clearly indicated that Israel is NOT an apartheid state NOW, all this non stop anti-israel hysteria notwithstanding. Whats going to happen in the future is anyone's guess anyway.

Gen. George Marshall told it like it was 65 years ago. And I'd BET Gen. Dwight Eisenhower agreed with him. But Israel was a fait accompli before Eisenhower took office. Americans are such saps.
