85 People Have as Much Money as Half the World

WE = People...not Government! The American people are the most generous the world has ever known. It should never be taken from us by force to spread the wealth. Spreading the wealth by force is a ruse to steal it for greedy politicians. Bringing others down to a lower level never works to bring others up.

 

Yet the same lefties say EBT cards for lap dances are ok. How far does lapdance money go in the Congo?

That doesn't add up. Even if you take the richest person and times it by 85 that isn't half the wealth in the world.

Oh the poorest half. Well they don't live in free market capitalist counties. Of course they are dirt poor. America is exceptional you know. Most countries have been around forever and havent done a damn thing

 

Many working people smoke pot you know. Who do you think can afford it?

 

On a personal level, you can bring others up, by holding a door, or lending a hand, it doesn't always cost money.

 

That's freedom. Specifically, freedom to enslave and be enslaved through financial means.

 

"Medical marijuana" is a prescription, and under medicare expansion, via obamacare its super cheap, especially if you're on 99weeks of unemployment, with an ebt card....

 

You can't buy it with EBT. Legal MJ is more expensive then illegal.

Wealth can be an illusion, but money is a false representative of that illusion. Take all the oil in the world. We have less available every day. Humans are getting less wealthy every day with every gallon of oil pumped. You can say all that world oil is worth a billion dollars or a trillion dollars and next week ten times that amount, but there is not 10 times more oil. There is only less of it next week, and even less the week after, and even less the month after. Unless those 1400 or so people actually owned and controlled half the world's physical resources, they do not control half the wealth. Google closed the day at $1,163.70. If midnight tonight it is revealed that Google has been spreading viruses, is a secret part of the FBI Anaconda plan, or whatever, Google stock might only be worth $11.63 share this time next week. No real wealth has been destroyed at all--the paper we call money just gets moved around somewhere else and the world will have a few less billionaires. People who want to put money in little people's hands so they can consume more really are hypocrites if they ever say that they are pro-environment. Consumerism is the antithesis of environmentalism.

 

Why buy a prescription? Obama wants to buy it for you. Smoke some free weed, forget about your future. ObamaBucks (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)es!

 

Well since obamacare is such a huge failure the libs have to focus on other propaganda. Gays, racism, guns, etc....are just their "go to" distractions when they fail so miserably. Now that the economy and the health care system is still in a mess the libs need more "squirrels" to distract. Income inequality....lol! Look a squirrel! Hahahahaha!

 

If you don't like weed don't smoke it. Same for alcohol cigs etc... But really get out a little more and you will realize lots of people smoke, people you would never think, and yes they work. Some grow up and rule the world since the early 90s.

 

That's one way. But these people don't get all that money just from our debt, do they? Seems to me it's all the playing around they do on the market and all the bills the skim off the top in business at workers' expense that really makes them wealthy.

Bush and Obama too. The last two were coke fiends. I have seen people and coke. You don't do coke for a month or so regularly and not be a bit of a crazed fiend. I think Obama even free based which pretty much makes him a crack head.

There are 1000s of things to hate about obamacare it is the dumbest law in awhile for many reasons. But we have to stick with facts otherwise we are worse then the left because facts are a standard of ours.

 

That's not all of it. Simply owning a business doesn't make you a billionaire. It's taking and using all that money from the business for your own use that does it.

 

It made Oprah a multi billionaire, bill gates too. But they both started with essentially nothing, others got a head start.

 

Man, those figures are insane. I feel disgusted just reading them, it's so extreme. And according the right wingers union workers are supposedly the greedy ones!

 

Of course, it's hard to resent a fellow like Bill Gates being mega wealthy when Microsoft's employees have always made good money (as the market demands they would, of course, for work of that nature) and he's been so generous with his wealth to boot, but when we have millions of people slaving away for peanuts while their bosses live it up in the Carribean, etc., it just seems to me like something's not quite right there.

 

I'm not buying your oil example. That's like saying because all of the world's easy to access flint is used up for spears, the world is poorer for it.

 

Yet no body on this forum or in the article can explain how these wealthy people with billions harms anyone else.
