Letting this RINO roam free may be a little less than total dem domination but keeping her would be agreeing to total capitulation to the liberal horde.

Don't know him and don't care who he is. Let him join the other RINOS in the wild. All they have done for us if get in the way.

Forcefully forcing?? Isn't that the way BH Obama and the dems have been governing for the past six years? Did you miss the obama-care health care take over being FORCED down the throats of 60%+ of their constituents? You must have been asleep when the TEA Party stepped onto the stage. It was when the dems closed the doors behind them and went to work on Obama-care and BHO bought union votes with money that he promised would be spent on middle class jobs , like infrastructure.

Take a look at the dem party if you want to see extremism. BH Obama is their leader and he is openly defying our Republican form of government by ignoring laws that he doesn't like and changing other laws passed by Congress.

Do you expect the people in here - who know the facts - to read your posts after that statement??

Hell, you know all of that so I have to assume that you are a Soros troll of just a kid who likes to stir the cesspool to smell the (*)(*)(*)(*).

I'm on the Tea Party Patriots email list (know your enemy) and they're proposing that they should become even more extreme. They actually come out and called those with "centralist" political beliefs "extreme leftists" because they've become so extreme that they identify the "average" American as being an extremist today.

Today only about 22% of Americans consider themselves to be supporters of Tea Party movement political ideology and that percentage is decreasing due to the actions of Tea Party members in Congress. Those that support the Tea Party movement vary from moderate right-wing extremism to extreme right-wing extremism but all are extremists when compared to roughly 75% of all Americans.

So we shouldn't care than. Just keep raising it to infinity? Like it doesn't matter. The tea party just wants this talked about and an conclusion. The left just seems to not care. Let it be someone else's problem. Let our future kids worry about it. Is this right?

    Another Republican Leaves the GOP

    Posted: 01/31/2014 3:11 pm EST | Updated: 01/31/2014 3:59 pm EST
    Excerpts:

“Days after Nevada's first female lieutenant governor left the GOP, a member of a notable Silver State Republican family is following suit.

The Associated Press reported Friday that lobbyist Neena Laxalt, daughter of former Nevada governor and U.S. Sen. Paul Laxalt (R), decided to register as nonpartisan.

Laxalt's decision comes two days after Nevada Republican Sue Wagner announced she was jumping ship as a "symbol" that she does "not like the Republican Party and what they stand for today."

"It’s grown so conservative and tea-party orientated and I just can't buy into that," Wagner said. "I've left the Republican Party and it's left me, at the same time."

According to the AP report, Laxalt was encouraged by Wagner's decision. Wagner also chose to change her affiliation as nonpartisan.

HuffPost Pollster's latest compilation of 57 publicly available polls shows that the Republican Party's favorable rating has decreased steadily over the past two years. Back in January 2012, 43.3 percent viewed the GOP unfavorably. As of January 27, 2014, that number ballooned to 66.4 percent.

    Republican Party Favorable Rating:
    Unfavorable 66.4%
    Favorable 27.3%”

    .....

IMO: The republican party’s actions for 6 years has reverberated into resignations as the popularity of the once grand old party sinks lower and lower due mostly with their vindictive obstruction plus a clear cut, acceptable plan for their party. Different forces within the party are guiding it toward extinction without any regard to their own careers.

When many republicans are throwing their political affiliations and careers away, any reasonable person would back up, and think whether their careers are pointing toward helping their fellow Americans or going over the politicl cliff pursuing their own selfish nd impossible agendas.

With a favorable rating of 27.3% it is clearly time to dump the troublemakers, resign a few golden oldies, get fresh material both in age and ‘no fanatics need apply’ mantra! They have 10 months to turn the party around or be permanently put out to pasture by the Dems.

I'm glad that you are acknowledging that the Tea Party movement started recently, and not in 1776.

The first TEA Party protest happened when a black man got the nomination for President (late 2008).

He's lawfully governing. He just brought the USA out of the worst recession in history while battling the worst extremism in history... and that's pretty awesome.

I'm sorry if facts make your life difficult.

At least they're admitting that they're extremists. I hope the IRS targets them (they should have reasonable doubt by now) and the DoJ keeps an eye on their activities (they should have probable cause by now).

As they say, you're either with us or against us!

A RINO leaves the Republican Party she never assisted with which to begin. Fantastic. You just cited an example of an extremely weak Republican (in name only) who left due to TEA Party influence, and then in the next breath muse whether this is the end of the TEA Party?

    Stupid post is stupid.

President Obama openly admits to using marijuana and cocaine, a hard narcotic, as a young man. He later went on the obtain a Harvard degree and became the President of the United States. He actually proves anecdotally (Republicans love anecdotal evidence) that the propaganda behind the War on Drugs is pure BS.

This is the kind of bumper sticker logic that liberals attempt to use to convince themselves. :whisper: Because people wanted to reform a system does not mean that they 'overwhelmingly favored socialized healthcare with higher taxes'.

That'd be like saying "Americans overwhelmingly support more jobs, so I made them all slaves, and gave them exactly what they claimed they wanted".

Clown liberals simply do not give up. Don't be one of those, Pardy. Be a reasonable one who actually employs logic and common sense.

40% of Americans self-identify as Conservative. The TEA Party is doing the work of those who would self-identify as fiscal Conservative. I know you're scared to death of the TEA Party, and I enjoy that more than you could possibly know. I look forward with great zeal to keeping you afraid.

This is simple, liberals. The TEA Party exists as a reaction to one main fact: as the liberals have won the battle in the Democrat Party - removing Blue Dog Democrats in the process (the JFK Democrat; the one who still loved America and understood economics at a level exceeding 5th grade understanding) - liberals have also succeeded over the past 20 years in pulling the GOP to the left as well. While the ideological distance between the parties as remained the same, the movement to the left has been equal as well.

That leaves a major segment of America frustrated that they no longer have sufficient representation in Washington, DC. The fiscal Conservatism of the TEA Party arose from that. This is now a new battle for the heart of the GOP. Even as recently as 1995, the TEA Party would not have been created (Gingrich's Contract With America is steeped with TEA Party ideology).

Liberal Governors who are leaving is evidence that the war is being won by the TEA Party. Regardless: what kind of linguini-spined imbecile leaves instead of fights??

Oh yeah: liberals. The new "French" of politics.

The Tea Party movement is not a fiscal conservative movement. It is an anti-tax movement that opposes the necessary taxation to fund the authorized expenditures of Congress. A "fiscal conservative" require that authorized expenditure be paid for but the Tea Party doesn't advocate that but instead advocates the continuation of borrowing to fund the expenditures. It is also myopic in only considering the expenditures it supports as being "necessary" expenditure.

For example, if the proposition was to cut $500 billion from the DOD budget (that would not reduce the ability of the US military one iota related to actually defending the United States (but would require an end to US military interventionism around the world) the Tea Party Republicans would oppose that. For Tea Party Republicans being an imperialistic military nation wasting the economic resources of America is far more important than ensuring that a poor American has something to eat or be able to receive medical services they require. They'd rather kill Muslims in far off foreign lands than feed a poor American.

Don't believe me? Try getting the Tea Party House members to pass a bill blocking an increase in the National Debt where the President is mandated with the authority and responsibility do determine where the "cuts" to balance the budget are to occur. It was ironic that under "sequestor" the military budget was cut just a few percent while federal unemployment benefits, until it was re-addressed by Congress, was subjected to a 22% cut in benefits. "Sequestor" threw Americans under the bus so we could keep on killing Muslims.

Fiscal Responsibility Requires Paying the Bills On Time.

    Tea Party Republicans oppose that.

Hearing Repubs say they're leaving because the party is becoming too conservative is music to my ears.

Hard to believe you can't see this is good news.

The Tea Party generally focuses on government reform. Among its goals are limiting the size of the federal government, reducing government spending, lowering the national debt and opposing tax increases.[25] To this end, Tea Party groups have protested the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP), stimulus programs such as the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA, commonly referred to as the Stimulus or The Recovery Act), cap and trade, health care reform such as the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA, also known simply as the Affordable Care Act or "Obamacare") and perceived attacks by the federal government on their 1st, 2nd, 4th and 10th Amendment rights.[26] Tea Party groups have also voiced support for right to work legislation as well as tighter border security, and opposed amnesty for illegal immigrants.

Despite your eagerness to make this about race it really is about moving the nation away from tyranny and toward liberty.

Do you believe that reforming the federal government so that it is lawful instead of lawless is racist?
Do you believe that reducing government spending is racist?
Do you believe that fighting the centralization of power in Independent agencies like the lawless EPA (cap and trade) is racist?
Do you believe that a spirited defense of the Constitution and its Bill of Rights is racist?
Do you believe that fighting fore the rights of the people to work without forced unionization is racist?
Do you believe that maintaining a secure America is racist?

Question: How do the current Independents (that were former Democrats) in the Senate and Congress vote? Answer: Along the DNC party line. They just don't have to pay the DNC Party Dues.

In this case you have a lobbyist and a former Lt Governor registering as Independents. Both side with the Tea Party. So, if they were to actually get elected to an office, they would still vote the GOP party line. So, this is much ado about nothing. I wish both candidates the best of luck.

Now, to counter you Liberally biased poll, here is a Conservative biased one:

You do know that when you lose Repubs you lose votes, don't you. The TP has been the best thing to happen to the Dems in years, the more the TPers show their true nature the fewer people that support them. A split is coming within the GOP and at that point the Dems will run the entire show. If the TP is so confident in their following why not form their own Party and try a win power without the help of the GOP, we both know they would be a failure if they tried.

She sounds more like an activist than a public servant. Thinking about herself instead of her constituents. Get lost, RINO. We don't serve your kind around here.

Sarah Palin is not a member of the Tea Party, she is a cheerleader. SarahPAC endorses GOP and Tea Party candidates alike. Palin is anti-establishment Republican and anti-Democrat and always has been. You forget that Sarah Palin ran against her own Republican Party to become our governor, something that John McCain never had the balls to do. McCain's idea of being a "maverick" was to suck on the Democrat teat while calling himself a Republican.

The GOP destroyed their party by funding and pandering to the Tea Party.

I have asked several dems here. What's your answer? The tea party want to cut spending to lower our country's debt.
What is your answer? How will we pay $20 trillion? Who will pay? My kids? Their kids? What will it been by than? I have heard any answer yet from any of y'all. All you can say is that the tea party is extreme by wanting to cut spending.
What's your answer. Should we not care about the debt and just make it infinity and never worry about paying it back? Sooner or later defaulting on the loans? Taxing the middle class enough to pay for it? How please explain your plain.

You mean like the outcome of the last midterms? What was it called... shellacking?

Do you really think things have improved for voters since 2010? Maybe you're counting on the success of Obamacare to turn the tide, huh?
