I believe there will be a purge. Which way the purge will go, I don't know. Will the moderates are the extremists be shown the door? They cannot continue to exist as they are now. They are absolutely destroying democracy in America and we have become a punchline to the rest of the world. I think Michelle Obama (and many other moderate Americans) might go back to being embarrassed for being an American. I know I sure am. Are Americans traveling abroad still posing as Canadians? I wouldn't be surprised....

This is the crux of their problem. Because of redistricting and Gerrymandering they have lumped all the wingnut voters all together in a few backward states, causing the balance of the House of Representatives to tip way over, crippling the legislative and executive branches from accomplishing anything important. And the Judicial branch has to spend far too much time reviewing laws that are clearly unconstitutional.

He increased at the beginning because she was a woman no one knew anything about. Then she opened her mouth and that was the end of that.

    Good riddance.

I'm not interested in those who wish to compromise with the liberal/socialist agenda.

If you want to compromise with the liberal/socialist agenda then you will not receive my vote.

The revisionist historians have left huge swaths of Americans ignorant of their own, true history. Huge percentages of Americans cannot even name their own Senators/Congresspeople. They cannot point to Iraq or Syria on the map. Some of them can't even point to their own country! The ignorant will believe anything someone tells them if they happen to like that person (I. e., someone who tells them what they want to hear). The result? Tea Bag Nation.

I'm not sure if they believed in made-up things. I know they did NOT consider black folks stolen from their homeland to be enslaved by lazy people to be men that are "created equal". So anything they thought or did is suspect after that nonsense.

Give me a moderate any day of the week, or at least people who are willing to compromise to get things done, you give some and you get some. Too bad that's never going to happen. You have the far left and then the far right, you know, the same people who shut down the government over something that had nothing to do with the spending bill.

I just can't stand this. People actually think that the Tea Party has done nothing extreme. They shut down the damn government because they didn't get their way, that's pretty damn extreme.

Your ilk has been making biblical doomsday predictions from the day Pres Obama took office and not one of them has had any validity let alone their respective outcomes. Now you can add the doomsday of the ACA to your dismal prediction record.

So....she wants a "liberal Republican party," eh? I'd say the little lady belongs in the Democrat party.

Since when does fighting for the U.S. Constitution and its principles mean "extremism?"

Since when does caring about the country and worrying about the debt we've amassed that our leaders on BOTH sides of the aisle have been saying for decades needs to be fixed.....become "extremism?"

Since when has expecting a president to enforce the laws of the land that he is SWORN to do instead of refusing to enforce the ones he doesn't agree with..........become "extremism?"

Since when has expecting an administration NOT to ABUSE the power of the government for political purposes as this one has in using the IRS to target their political enemies....become "extremism?"

Since when has expecting an administration NOT to purposefully LIE to us about a new federal program (Obamacare) in order to get it passed...and telling us we must pass it first before finding out what is in it.......become "extremism?"

Since when are we supposed to be "okay" with an administration lying to us about what happened in another 9/11 attack for the purposes of protecting themselves politically right before an election.......become "extremism?"

I would say that based on all the above, it is the Democrat party who are the "extremists," as they are intent on moving our country further and further to the extreme left.....and they expect ALL to be okay with that and NOT fight for their own principles.

They were all grouped together by their ideology by Gerrymandering. That is anti-democratic and certainly not what the founding fathers intended. It seems teahadists can only win by using underhanded tactics. They must not have confidence they can win fairly. I think they know their situation better than you do.

So....you like people who are "willing to compromise" and "get things done," you say. But I'm betting you fully supporting Pres. Obama even though he said from the outset, "I will not compromise or negotiate." He even called the Senate in for what was supposed to be a meeting, where he announced again at the beginning of the meeting, "I brought you here to tell you I will not compromise; I will not negotiate."

Here's a couple of "yes" or "no" questions for ya:

Did you expect the president to give up something as well?
Or did you expect 100% of any compromising to come from ONLY Republicans.

No, I think there needs to be some sort of compromise when it comes to bills. Now granted at the same time, if people want to try and put something on the table that has nothing to do with the subject at hand, and that goes both ways, than it shouldn't be on the table. That should be common sense. Also:

"We're going to do everything — and I mean everything we can do — to kill it, stop it, slow it down, whatever we can.” - John Boehner on Obama's agenda... Yeah, so much compromise in congress right? Oh that's right, it only goes against the other party and not your own, forgot how that works.

As for your yes and no questions(really, there is only one):

Yes, as long as said "something" actually relates to the issue at hand, again, that goes both ways

I do believe there will be a financial collapse of some sort sooner or later. Obama will very little to do with it. Big banks, Wall Street, government spending, the loss of the American petro dollar, etc. Obama more than likely will be out by than. Major financial export have stated the same.

Hello, permanent Democratic majority (which, in my opinion, is not a good thing, but it is better than the alternative [kinda shows what a fine mess we've gotten ourselves into]).

Bull they were taking guns from homes in New Orleans and smaller towns.
Chicago mayor said he wants guns taken from Americans. Minority house leader said she wants to take away guns. Has she not. Something like mr and miss America turn in your guns was the quote I believe

They rode in on the backs of the GOP structure and now wnat to destroy that structure. I would say that they are very dumb when it comes to politics.

They are not a threat to the Democrat Party so I like them. I can't get anything done as just a liberal but I can get a lot more done if the Democrats have the power.

Obama has done nothing but keep Bush's status quo. Just keep the lobbyist and large corps and Wall Street and large banks happy buy taking their money and ruling in their favor.

Wow. Making fun of speech-impaired people? What's next? Mocking the mentally challenged and those with physical disabilities?
