Ok liberals what has our billions gotten us

Liberal seem to love the wonderful United Nations. The US has given them untold Billions. Now that Russia has invaded the Ukraine, where the hell is the UN, where the hell is our UN ambassador? Why isnt that worthless debating society forcing Russia out of Ukraine??

IMO the billions we have given the UN is just money down the drain. Tell us libs why do you love the UN so much????

As a political science major in college i had to take a course named "politics 302" which was all about the UN charter.
I advise that you acquire and read this charter it is not very long and you will get an idea of what UN is and how it works.

P.S. but their one saving grace is the UN Health Organization. It helps in the fight against global epidemics and diseases.

I find it amazing that such comments are made without the benefit of a brief amount of research.

 

Withdrawing from the Un is not withdrawing from all relations we can have international relations without the UN.

In fact I think the point is we can have better relations without the UN.

I am not for withdrawing from the United Nations.

What I AM for, however, is moving the entire United Nations headquarters out of New York City and out of the United States altogether.

The entire lot of blow-hards and feckless bureaucrats can go set up shop in Amsterdam or Zurich as far as I am concerned.
And good riddance.

It withdraws you from an international forum where everybody can work stuff out together. The UN doesn't actually have any power but what it does do is make the actions and decisions of various countries publicly well-known, so we can hold them accountable.
