And the destabilization continues.
Destabilizing Maduro is a worthy idea, but Hussein Obama and Kerry are too worthless to carry out a good plan.
The Obama administration, through NED [National Endowment for Democracy] and USAID, are currently backing the right wing opposition movements. The same people involved in the failed 2002 military coup. Your support for imperialism is not so good however.
The point is to spam every forum in the joint with numerous posts filled with gibberish on how evul America is. And Stuff.
Calling it 'destabilization' is inaccurate; supporting democratic groups is more like 're-stabilization'; Chavez was a demagogue who did nothing but promote himself and his cronies, and Maduro will do the same. Blaming the U.S. for Venezuela's traditional endemic corruption is just spin and hubris. The vast majority of anti-American rants depend on hyperbole and repeatedly using ridiculously loaded words like 'de-stabilization', imperialism', and the like while managing to say absolutely nothing about vermin like Chavez and Maduro. They're screeds, not efforts at serious discussion.
The coup had nothing to do with the US, and only an idiot would think it did. I mean, hell, look at what the Chavez government has tried to use as the casus belli... an OPEC oil embargo that nobody else has heard of! According to claims by the Chavez Government, in 2002 there was going to be an embargo placed upon the US by 2 nations in retaliation for their support of Israel. What were those 2 nations? Iraq and Libya. One had it's own oil embargoed by the UN and OPEC for the last decade, and Libya is not even in the "Top 10" list of oil sources for the US. So what effect would this have had on US oil supply? To insignificant to even consider. And what is their claim that would have stopped this mysterious embargo? Why, a coup in Venezuela? Why? I have absolutely no freaking idea, and neither does anybody else. But that was their claim. So please, talk facts and ration, not conspiracy theory crapola.
So I imagine you believe the claims of Venezuela then. That the coup was created by the CIA to destabilize the Chavez regime in order to prevent an oil embargo by Iraq and Libya. Are you even aware of how retarded that sounds?
Very shortsighted of you , Chavez was just the beginning for political change in Latin America and his military deals with Russia could potentially kick the last US puppet of the region over the cliff .
Why? Because that is the silliness that Venezuela itself has claimed what happened? http://www.theguardian.com/world/2002/may/13/oil.venezuela http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/programmes/newsnight/1985670.stm But even a decade later, nobody has ever seen this "proof". Venezuela never put an embargo on oil to the US, Iraq was still under UN sanctions which controlled where it's oil went, and Libya never mentioned an embargo. And you can bet that the rest of OPEC would have vetoed it even if they had asked for one. I mean come on now, does nobody else find this completely absurd? That the head of OPEC would know more about a coup in Venezuela (and that it was led by the US) then Hugo himself did? This is now a 14 year old story, and yet to this day not a single shred of evidence has ever appeared. No names, no photographs, even the coup leaders stated that it was their own idea in response to the unconstitutional excesses of "El Presidente". So come on, give us the proof then.
