Former U.S. Vice President Gore says - Snowden violated the law, and this is not good. However, in doing so, he shed light on the more serious violations of the laws, including the U.S. Constitution. He rendered great service to all, because we need to know how far gone surveillance program of special services. http://www.nextpowerup.com/news/9528/al-gore-doesnt-think-edward-snowden-is-a-traitor.html
U.S. government was able to transform society in obedient sheep. Media said - Snowden traitor. Sheep happily answered - yes. Media say - fascism is good. Sheep will shout joyfully - "long live fascism". Incidentally sheep are screaming "Long live fascism in Ukraine."

Gore is a traitor and should be caught and caged in Gitmo in the same cage as Snowden.

(laughs) That's the true face of democracy by American - Guantanamo. Elsewhere in the world, such "democracy" called - Fascism. Incidentally, such a total surveillance of his people, as in the U.S., was not even in Nazi Germany.

Guantanamo is a shame. It had to be closed long ago and, better yet, it should never exist. Snowden will return to his home country, the USA, as a hero, after all.

I don't see why it needs to be an either or. Snowden did a whole series of things and released all sorts of different data to different people (directly and indirectly). I think it's perfectly possible that some of what he did could be heroic while other things he did was traitorous. There should certainly be different assessments of the importance and legitimacy of his leaking different elements of the mass of data he did.

Snowden is not a traitor to Germany. He should get here, get our citizinship and tell us all the US intellegence has done here. I do have a right to know about.

Spying on your closest ally is no fun. NSA must be punished in a german trial - all those who are involved.

(laughs) Snowden is not a traitor. Snowden revealed the fascist regime in the United States. As German officers, was plotting to kill Hitler were not traitors German people ..... And so - yes. Traitors nobody likes. If, for example, in peacetime, without disaster, someone flee to the United States - he is a traitor? I understand if he had gone to Israel. But in the U.S. .....

I'm not so sure about that.

He exposed illegal activity conducted by our own government directed against people, like you and me, who pose no threat at all to our national security.

Germany is in occupation. According to this, a plebeian can not require a response from the emperor. Merkel humbly shakes head, before Obama. Understands who the boss is.

    Dear Ronstar,

could you explain why the US does spy on germans?

Why on earth did they spy on us? Merkel same as Osama Bin Laden? Impossible. The average german citizin equal to Taliban or pro russian terrorists? Would no say so, sorry.

Do you understand that I do feel irritated? I do not need support from Putin supporters inhere and I do not want such support.

I think that is an argument what must be solved among very close allies.

Ronstar, imagine one thing: Germany would have spyd on all americans and on the mobile of your président.

Very honestly, what would have been the american reaction?

I tell you! They would have freaked out! And guess what: I would be one of the first to freak out, because I would find such treatment with friends very irritating.

Why Obama does not make an anti-spy agreement with Germany?

I do think the west is facing serious problems. Germany now did deside to invest 3 billion Euros (about 4,5 billion Dollars) in anti spy systems especially against NSA.

I would rather see that money invested in windfarms and...in a stronger german part in Nato!

Snowden sooner or later will end up in Germany. he will get german citizinship so that our police can ask him every detail without any restrictions from the US - german citizin are protected and the US wont get him. Garantueed by our constitution...

I rather would concentrade of fighting against strange extremists in the middle east, to put sanctions on Russia and to invest in windfarming and new energy systems...

    What do you think?

    Take care ;-)

    No way we are occupied.

The difference is what you from outside wont get:

USA and Germany is the same family. In every family you will find arguments. If someone from outside does bother the family, the family will immidiately stick together against the one from outside. Look at your kids, same principe. They might argue, but if a stranger is coming, nothing can seperate them.

Observe that. What is about real families is the same about Germany, the USA and Russia. I do critizise one aspect in US policy. I do not question the USA.

I do not question a single aspect of russian policy. I question on what that country is based on:

    FASCISM.

A difference. An essential one, indeed.

So russians are not needed inside that family disagreement. Nor needed nor wanted. Clear message?

(laughs) Yeah. Yes. Recently, in Normandy, "family" remembered "dispute". By the way, do you know about the death camps Eisenhower? "family" camp?

You do not need to "remember" me about D-Day. I am half german half french. I translated inside my family many issues, sometimes wrong to avoid negative feelings.

Again: I do not want or need any pro-russians to interfere in issues they wont get anyway. You are not of "our" family. I do not need or want you.

What I deeply regret about 1945:

Americans, british and french troops should have kicked the Stalinists out of Europe.

I would have loved to see french troops liberating Warszaw / Praha from Stalin 1945. If all these rapers in the Red Army would have fallen in the hands of the western coalition, we would have had a big Nurnberg 2.0.

Snowden is a hero. He is standing up to the fascists, which is why conservative cowards hate him.

you clearly don't know what a "Fascist" is.

and who claims to stand up to Fascism and Authoritarianism, and seeks the help of Putin's Russia?????

Snowden did what Putin is doing. Both of them have thrown serious Monkey Wrenches in the works of the New World Order. Both are working on behalf of all humankind. Woe to you who don't see and understand!

    I do not know prostitudes.

I do know russian military. I am from Berlin. Russian military is discusting. Russians are fine and wellcomed. I think it was a mistake that the west did not kick them back to where they came from. It woud have been possible: the Red Army was more or less beaten in 1945.

Hmm. I lived in Berlin from 1980 to 1983. I had a cool little apartment in Brietenbach platz. On a street called Schlagenbader Strasse. I hope my spelling was close. I seem to remember the autobahn going through the middle of that apartment complex.

Berlin was considered the night life capital of Europe back then. I understand that's changed since the wall went down.

I pass that Autobahn every day.

Berlin is now a very popular city in Europe. Things also changed - some to the better, some protection Berliners had is gone (financial help) - but the city is getting more and more popular.

Especially israelis love it here...also have many russians, turkish, southern europeans (among them many spanish) do live here now.

I am not a teacher ^^ no worry. I spell all for you, just that you remember:

    Breitenbach Platz
    Schlangenbader Straße
Autobahn as subject with capital "A"

But well done, you have very presise memories.

Come back and check it out - Berlin nighlife!

Some of the best memories of my life are from when I lived in Berlin.
