they are not guilty by association, they are not guilty at all, they are victims of the reckless, stupid, violent, barbaric behavior and actions of their parents, their neighbors, their country's leadership.
Or when Hamas won't allow anybody to leave the building and so in effect makes every target guarded by what they figure is a human shield and also makes them guilty of another war crime. One would think the warnings by the IDF that they were going to hit the targets would be listened to. But for the most part die because their own government uses them as human shields against an inevitable Israeli counter action to their own civilians being terrorized by Hamas.
Kids die when suicide vest wearing Martyrs raised by Palestinian mothers for the single purpose, blow Israeli buses. Do I hear you calling these crime committing human debries anything other then "resistance"? Nope.
East Jerusalem has its Arab Quarter for over a thousand years... and its certain that the European Jews never planted or tended all those 500 year old olive trees. Except for a collection of fantastic stories the Jews wrote there is no evidence that Palestine was ever exclusively Jewish.. .. quite the contrary. Does the morality of theft and genocide cross your mind?
Israel has violated far more international laws than the Palestinians refugees have violated.. Where does your exclusive entitlement come from? Do you remember how badly Jews were abused in Europe? Do you remember that they were herded into ghettos and concentration camps and that their property was confiscated?
Claiming that Islam intends to "obliterate" Judaism is a lame tactic to justify theft and genocide of the native inhabitants. They didn't obliterate Jewish or Christian Arabs for 2000 years.
I never claimed that, " Islam intends to "obliterate" Judaism." Did you even read the link? It's the Hamas Charter. Hamas made that claim. And they're working very hard to carry it out. Who elected Hamas to run Gaza and the West Bank? The Palestinians. Who continues to support Hamas and its aim to eliminate Israel by any means? The Palestinians. Don't you get tired of cheerleading for fascists hiding behind the aegis of radical Islam?
That and several hundred rockets being fired into Israeli population centers as part of an unprovoked attack by Hamas. Hamas started this war.
In 1986-1987 the Palestinians fought hard against the development of Hamas.. calling for compromise and reconciliation instead.... However, Israel did support the founding of Hamas as a foil against the PLO and Arafat... (anything but peace or a stop to the land grab) Success came because Hamas was recruited from the most cruel and desperate of the Palestinian refugee camps.
None of which negates the fact that Hamas desires the complete destruction of Israel, refuses to participate in peace negotiations, uses Palestinians as human shields and made an unprovoked attack on Israel using unguided rockets aimed at Israeli population centers. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/01/26/AR2006012600372.html
No, I and others will continue to advertise as vocally as possible, Israel's occupation of territory which is not theirs to occupy, it's illegal settlement expansion policy and its treatment of the Palestinians as less than human. Don't like it? Not my problem, frankly. Israel is not remotely interested in peace-certainly the right-wing hawks in the Knesset aren't interested, including Netanyahu who publicly, and smugly, bragged about derailing the Oslo peace process. Israel is the belligerent occupier under the terms of international law and as such has obligations to those under occupation. Israel serially either abuses or ignores those obligations.
Would you want to take part in negotiations with totally unacceptable preconditions which overwhelmingly favour your opponent to your detriment? Stop parrotting mainstream media.
700 have been killed with 56 mosques and 7 hospitals destroyed. Is that "self defense"? Why is it that Israel is incapable of prosecuting crimes without massive retaliation? Is that a lack of justice or a capability for dealing with criminal murder? The US could simply bomb Detroit over their murder rate.
It's not the mainstream media. It's directly from Hamas' Charter. Chapter 13. http://www.palestine-studies.org/files/pdf/jps/1734.pdf
Israel has never stopped provoking Hamas ... its their excuse for their massive retaliations.. Smart people would seek a just peace. When I was a kid, Israel approached ARAMCO, the US govt and KSA to accept the rest of the Palestinians.. They wanted to expel the rest of them and they wanted the US to pay for it. Hitler created millions of Jewish refugees.. and confiscated their property.. abusing or killing them in horrifically inhumane ways. The abused quickly became the abusers with an entitlement to the land of others.
You do understand this is utter nonsense, don't you? Every rocket fired by Hamas and there has been tens of thousands of them, is a war crime, every kidnapping, every terror/ suicide attack is a war crime. Every single persecution of gays or jews or Christians in the Muslim world is a violation of international law, the horrible treatment of women is a violation of human rights law....and don't get me started on Muslim genocides, ethnic cleansings, torture, corruption.... That the UN dominated by islamic theocracies and third world dictatorships picks on Israel speaks volumes about the UN, in the real world all these UN sh$tholes that routinely vote against Israel are the worst abusers of all international laws, the Geneva conventions, human rights and humanitarian laws on the planet.
Kidnapping and murder is definitely a crime... and it happens in the US far too often.. We don't throw out the criminal justice system and bomb whole towns. Is Israel capable of self-governance or justice?
LOL....The Charter is of course irrelevant and the use of the charter argument by pro-Zionists is nonsense. Several times the Hamas leadership has said publicly that Hamas is willing to accept a Palestinian state with 1967 borders and thereby will effectively recognize Israel. So from Hamas' site, a solution of the conflict is possible. http://www.haaretz.com/news/haniyeh...-palestinian-state-with-1967-borders-1.256915 But there is another charter in play. The Likud charter from 1999 as available on www.knesset.gov.il says: The Jewish communities in Judea, Samaria and Gaza are the realization of Zionist values. Settlement of the land is a clear expression of the unassailable right of the Jewish people to the Land of Israel and constitutes an important asset in the defense of the vital interests of the State of Israel. The Likud will continue to strengthen and develop these communities and will prevent their uprooting. The Government of Israel flatly rejects the establishment of a Palestinian Arab state west of the Jordan river. Judea and Samaria are the West Bank. I am not aware of any refutation of that charter. Meanwhile since Likud's election victory in 2009, it's leader Netanjahu has extended the Zionist settlements in the West Bank which are against international law as well as the so-called roadmap and other peace plans. Netanjahu has himself openly derailed Oslo. So while using Hamas charter in an argument as being an obstacle to peace is clearly bogus, it is obviously justified to point to Likud's charter as the real issue.
Have you ever stopped to think that when you steal land, water and the rights of others that they will fight back? Are you so sure that your tradition and heritage and culture is the ONLY one?
