You have some good stances on some things, however....

The parts in bold would prove to be counter-productive. As much as they seem like morally sound moves, in reality, they would result in more victims being murdered. If the offender faces the death penalty either way, then what is their incentive to let the victim live?

And this is no different than what we had during slavery. Basic human rights are now dependent entirely upon what state you happen to live in. Abortion is a violation of the spirit of the 14th Amendment (operating on a semantic loophole) and must be unilaterally abolished across the board. Anything less renders every other issue completely empty and meaningless. All rights start with the basic right to life.

From both a Moral and Medical perspective there is no way to completely abolish abortion.

We could reduce the number of abortions by over 95% across the board using a combination of education, contraception and easy to get and use Plan B and Morning After Drugs.

Good for you, but I do not think State Boards of Election accept beer as payment for registration to be on the ballot, so you might want to rethink your financing plans.

First, Good Luck to you. I like your platform save for these two points but mainly your stance on the death penalty. It is far more expensive to kill someone via Death Penalty than to keep them in prison for life.

So you will legalize prostitution and marijuana, but cooking meth warrants the death penalty?!?!?

Your platform is a bit too ambitious, unless you're running for dictator. Most of that stuff is really up to the congress and/or the states.

He'll have to make a amendment for that one . Maybe letting the victims family take care of the problem.

Anti-federalism went out of style in the 19th century, and isolationism went out of style in the 20th. And your advocacy for the Coast Guard seems out of place; you know they're part of the much-maligned Dept of Homeland Security, right?

It's ironic that you want to take the one item in your platform that is a state issue and make it a federal one.

It's only interesting because I threw it in there as a red herring.

Again, I put it in the list as a way of seeing if anybody would read the entire thing.
I may as well have said, "I am going to set the price of cheeseburgers at $1.00 apiece."

    (I don't eat cheeseburgers.)

thats WHY you would not get elected because you are not part of the corrupt one party system of being a demopublican or reprocrat. the establishment doesnt want us to be a free country so thats why an independent who would serve the people instead of the bankers will never get elected.the last one that tried who wasnt part of the corrupt system, paid for it on nov 22nd 1963.

Sparquelito: "I would run as an Independent, and I would not take a dime (for my campaign financing) from any person who I didn't know and trust very well. I would also refuse to take any money from any company or corporation whose products and services that I did not personally use and/or endorse."

Many years ago I was arguing with a police chief about his "fixing" tickets. I was speaking specifically about a speeding ticket a coach at the university got and the chief ordered the officer to dismiss the ticket. I compared what the chief did with an officer "fixing" a ticket for $25. The chief objected that he was just helping out a friend.

"At what we get paid chief, I can be awfully friendly for $25." The chief got mad, calmed down, and agreed.

I suspect that if George Soros and David Koch showed up on the same morning, each with $1,000,000 for your campaign, you would suddenly decide you knew them well enough and certainly trusted them enough to take the money.

I assume you are running for Emperor, as practically nothing of what you propose can be done by the President alone.

What is a tenured civil servant? I've never heard of such, and always thought tenure was just an Academic thing.

I don't approve of beer for Civil Servants, will you work for Weed?

The things I would wish to accomplish would not be done by me alone.
I would actually work with the other two Branches of government to reach peaceable-non-partisan consensus.

In this federal government, once you have spent a year or more at a given pay grade, you are all but unfire-able.
If not by actual regulation, you are virtually un-fireable by virtue of a weak and useless culture of political correctness and fear of frivolous grievances.
It's really the worst culture ever.
Laziness is rewarded and hard work is stifled and suppressed.
If I were President, I would re-implement the NSPS, and work to change the culture around to one of integrity and hard work.

I prefer beer, but thanks for the offer of weed.
It really doesn't do anything for me, truth be told.
But I do appreciate the kindness of your offer.

Have you selected your running mate, yet? I'd like to toss my hat into the ring.

Stocking the beer fridge is but a slight price to pay for the second highest office in the land. However, when vetting me you will probably hear rumors that I'm a power mad villain type. So, fair warning, you'd probably want to bring back the position of King's Food Taster.
