Is John Hotson Ph. D. correct in the following assertion?

    http://www.mailstar.net/money.html

How can the Democratic Party use this idea to recover their lost popularity?

A related question is.... did President Lincoln actually save American taxpayers roughly four billion dollars in interest payments?

If so.... how can we apply this principle in 2014 without causing excessive jitteriness on the financial markets?

An article from the 1990s? They missed the recession recovery. Are we going to fix the financial system? I don't think so...

But I think we just need to hang in there a few more years. There's a new world coming soon...

We might have fusion power in a few years. And, someone might just figured out how to convert energy into matter.

Wow! The post-human era is coming right at us sooner than any of us realize! I'm shocked at the progress but we're really moving in towards the end game here.

Here is some verification for the statistic regarding President Lincoln saving American taxpayers four billion dollars in interest payments.

I have a number of reasons to suspect that George Soros is correct that a devaluation of the USA dollar is now in the works..... but this is not entirely all bad news.

"George Soros says that America must give up the dollar and accept world currency."

    http://www.examiner.com/article/geo...aggregation&fb_aggregation_id=288381481237582

A lower dollar would make "Made in America" products more affordable in foreign markets.

I am Canadian and in my opinion films produced in the USA are the best in the world.

We are entering an age when low costs of HD film production can turn the production of documentary, reality and even semi-reality science fiction projects into something that virtually any community could initiate.

    http://www.politicalforum.com/polit...urrencies-finance-films-address-problems.html

New Age Communities can print local currencies finance films that address problems?!

At this time I tend to believe that New Age Groups may be the most likely to successfully initiate local currencies and use them to finance film projects in which homeless people could become actors playing the role of homeless people.... .which could easily finance their buying or renting homes????!!!!

We'll use dissenters as fuel! Haha!

    Sorry...

Seriously, I just made a thread over in science that someone discovered how to convert energy into matter. See: You CAN turn energy into matter!

Eventually, we're going to have free resources as fusion power outputs materials directly. Manufacturing materials directly with energy should lead to unlimited resources and no more shortfalls.

But....... if America has linked the value of the Dollar to Monsanto, BigPharma and other massive companies whose agenda for the future is unethical...… then the foundation for the Dollar is flawed........ and so George Soros could be at least partly correct in some of the major points that he makes?!

    http://www.politicalforum.com/polit...-could-utah-state-dollar-save-usa-dollar.html

Could a Utah State Dollar save the USA Dollar?

Have you seen any of the following films:

    1. The Future of Food
    2. Food Inc
    3. The World According to Monsanto.

If so..... then you know that the USA dollar to some degree is linked to and backed up by a plan to control the world's production of food in such a way that could eventually produce global famine.

"George Soros says that America must give up the dollar and accept world currency."

Back in 1994 I found out that President Lincoln had saved American taxpayers four billion dollars in interest payments and since that time I have been wondering what alternative was available to improve monetary policy that would not scare the investors on Wall Street.

A Utah State Dollar could perhaps be the answer!????!!!

So you think Soros is concerned with the welfare of our nation?, well he isn't! If he says we must do something, it is because he can make money off it.

I don't know his motives and I have only read a couple of articles about his beliefs.

In both of those articles I saw some comments by him that seemed to indicate that he had some insight regarding what was wrong with North American culture and our economy……. and some other comments by him indicated that he felt he could make more money if conditions were somewhat different…… but what I saw of him was not anywhere nearly as bad as the comments made by the C. E. O. of Nestle regarding water.

    (quoted by Whaler 17)

Based on your quotation from Benjamin Franklin in your signature I suspect that you may be aware of how monetary policy in 1750 differed from what it was like previous to the era of President Lincoln?

Actually...… a lot of effort has been made to keep the central bank rate low...… which is the next best thing to what we did up here in Canada back in 1940 which was begin to use our Central Bank to put about half of the money supply into the economy through loans for infrastructure spending that were at one percent or even at zero interest.

And..... when the rate was one percent because it was done through the bank of Canada the interest ended up being paid back to the Bank of Canada which was owned by taxpayers!

Oh yes, low interest rates. I thought that was a good idea. But, I've been recently reminded that low interest rates might negatively affect the middle class's retirement savings accounts.

You would tend to think though that any retirement fund that is invested wisely will tend to be more profitable during a time when the central bank rate is low........ because the interest rate is such a high percentage of the cost of doing business.

If somebody is only able to invest in tools that yield low rates of interest that are only slightly higher than the prime rate.... then yes...… those people could be in trouble.

If spread out in a rational manner, retirement plans can be invested ways to minimize the impact of low interest rates. The people being hurt are solely invested in very safe bonds and money market funds. Being about to retire I have parked 5/6ths of my retirement funds in very safe stuff, but am only making about 4% on it. I have 1/6 invested in the Stock market, and last year did very well, and so far this year it's doing well. I have fully recovered from the collapse in 2008 where I lost over a third of my retirement savings and am back to making money. When I retire this summer, I should have a comfortable retirement ahead, though I am retiring about 5 years later than originally planned.

Yup. The one difficulty is that older workers should be invested very conservatively which in low interest economies, can be a problem for them. The solution is to take more risk than normally would be advisable for people coming to the end of their working lives.

Doc John Hotson is very correct.

The only possible way is to forget partisan politics and insure that democracy works through Article V.

It will only work through the full assertion of the principles of the republic, or pure constitutional intent. Which republicans are often ignorant of, or socially afraid to associate with, so it might be done by democrats more readily.

First, the second most prime constitutional intent must be understood. The ultimate purpose of free speech.

    http://www.politicalforum.com/polit...free-speech-choosing-limits-over-purpose.html

Then engage a process of lawful and peaceful revolution, state by state.

    A) Test officials and candidates for acceptance of the root purpose of free speech being to assure unity vital to alter or abolish government destructive to unalienable rights is shared and understood.

    B) Test officials and candidates for acceptance of purpose of free speech as prime constitutional intent used to enforce "alter or abolish" as the prime right for the purpose of protecting unalienable rights.

    C) Assure officials of government, accept that EVERY American can understand and accept A) and B) is needed.

    D) Are you aware that in 1911, 2/3 of the states applied for a convention and congress violated the law, their oath and the constitution by failing to convene delegates?
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fs7qIQ1VkEg
    http://my.firedoglake.com/danielmarks/2013/04/30/congress-needs-to-comply-with-state-demands-for-article-v-constitutional-convention/

Letter from the Clerk of congress denying congress must count applications for Article V.

    http://articlev.org/oxwall/ow_userfiles/plugins/groupfiles/clerk-reply.pdf

Can you accept that such a fact justifies that all delegates be elected in the states by the people of those states?

    E) Can you understand and accept that any state legislator that cannot accept A), can be impeached in this constitutional emergency as being unfit for office?

    F)Can you understand and accept that A) B) C) D) & E) are legal process and that IF citizens act with D) as justification, and E) to complete the legal process, they WILL be "the rightful masters of the congress and the courts" BECAUSE their states, as led by the people, then will agree that proper preparation for Article V consists of;

    1) Amend Article V to assure the right to "alter or abolish" is enforceable under law with the peoples unity, by including preparatory amendment as a requirement.

    2) End the abridging of free speech.

    3) Securing the vote.

    4) Campaign finance reform.

    G) Officials of states and federal government need to accept that such preparation by amendment is completely constitutional and can only enable democratic assertion of the principles of the republic once complete; WHEREUPON all amendment ceases until America can assure it is competent to Article V by testing itself to assure it knows and can define constitutional intent

After that, MAJOR economic reforms can take place. It is likely we will find a "black budget cache", that will kick start a new economy.

Russia is abandoning the dollar because the ruple is worthless against the dollar. It has lost more than 50% of it's value against the dollar in the last 6 months. Russia had the 9th largest economy by GDP last year. It's economy is about 1/9th that of the U.S. and about 1/5th of China's. Italy and Brazil have larger GDP's than Russia. The only reason anyone cares about Russia is because it has lots of nukes.

    Wow!

    Fascinating answer ChristopherABrown!

I will have to read this again now because until a few minutes ago I didn't even know what you meant by Article V.

Wikipedia cannot be trusted on vital issues. I've actually implicated them in a disclosure of treason related to a structural deception regarding the cores of the Twin Towers. They support the deception and will not allow correction refusing to use evidence. They also misrepresent Article V in a way which is treasonous as far as I can tell. Here is my certified return of my notice to Jimmy Wales that wiki was part of the 2010 disclosure to the US district court.

Here is the misrepresentation of Article V.

To become part of the Constitution, an amendment must be ratified by either (as determined by Congress):

The misrepresentation is of the bolded part of Article V below.

    Article V

The Congress, whenever two thirds of both houses shall deem it necessary, shall propose amendments to this Constitution, or, on the application of the legislatures of two thirds of the several states, shall call a convention for proposing amendments, which, in either case, shall be valid to all intents and purposes, as part of this Constitution, when ratified by the legislatures of three fourths of the several states, or by conventions in three fourths thereof, as the one or the other mode of ratification may be proposed by the Congress; provided that no amendment which may be made prior to the year one thousand eight hundred and eight shall in any manner affect the first and fourth clauses in the ninth section of the first article; and that no state, without its consent, shall be deprived of its equal suffrage in the Senate.

Wiki gives congress control that is not stated in Article V. The words "may" and "propose", indicate the states can completely leave congress out. And it should be.

Their needs to be a contingent of Americans in each state that understand these exceeding simple aspect of constitutional intent, then use them to purify state legislations of unconstitutional officials. This is a vital action for constitutional defense because there are unconstitutional forces rallying around creating an "unconstitutional convention".

    http://www.politicalforum.com/polit...nstitutional-threat-thread-real-defenses.html

Only the people can prevent this. ALEC has been lobbying states for 20 years and it fairly inconceivable that they would not contribute heavily to candidates that would make decisions in their favor when needed. In 20 years with the billions they have, they could basically have enough control over 3/4 of the states to hijack a convention.

This is not the runaway the fearful are worried about, this IS a hijacking.

The plan I posted is about the only way to stop it. First Americans will have to unify, and with cognitive infiltrations on web forums, basically up to 70% of the most active posters are covert agents, even something as rudimentary as the common sense notion that free speech has an ultimate, constitutional purpose can be stigmatized. Sincere Americans that unconditionally support the constitution need to abandon all petty differences and unify around prime constitutional intent.

This is 2 birds with one stone. ONE = unity TWO = an absolute grasp of constitutional intent that LAWFULLY controls all officials. If it does not, they gotta' go.

I have an alternative idea in mind as to how the flaws in the financial system could begin to be corrected.

It seems that Americans and Canadians are again ready to do something similar to what was done in Worgl, Austria.

ChristopherABrown…. if a grassroots campaign like this really took off do you happen to know if a state could also print up a currency in order to encourage these local currencies?
