Well, I like him, but he does vanish often. To be honest, I don't blame him. There is a bit of racism on this board and he is the only one taking it on (other than the usual angry-white-liberal who would never venture into the inner city). Maybe it's not always correctly focused, but sometimes it is. I respect that.

The one I noticed was the one who just kept repeating "K Mart" "K Mart"....and his buddy who encouraged him

Which has nothing at all to do with the topic, or what Michelle did or said.
    Strange.

I'll bet the average black person wishes they only suffered that amount of "racism".

Yeah, someone mistook Barack for a hard-working employee. Probably a rare occurrence... but certainly not racist.

Did you get a chance to read the full article? Could you link/ post the pertinent quotes from the full article? Otherwise your just using a preview snip to validate that opinion...

I can't hold it against him now since I did a vanishing act myself around February or so with a broken back. But as far as him being the lonely warrior against racism - well, the problem there is that we have posters who see it where it doesn't exist, and don't have the nuance to discern otherwise. There's a huge difference between disliking Barry because of his stand on the issues, and because he's black, and many liberal posters - well, like I said: No nuance. I'd say a good 90% of the liberal base here have a kneejerk reaction that it must be the latter. I'm sure at least once a day we have left-of-center posters calling him "The First Black President" - kind of a reversal of Dr. Kings beliefs.

Good lord. That jacket looks like Piet Mondrian threw up on it. Or maybe Lichtenstein. You could make an argument either way.

That's the snippet. At the bottom of the page, it says check out the issue for the full article.

Michelle was also probably wearing one of those red commie 'community organizer' t-shirts to boot - you know those ones similar to the ones target employees wear.

Besides, I don't know how asking someone for a hand is racist.... Oh yeah, Michelle is absolutely delusional and racist herself so...

Nope, the objectionable thinking is all yours.

You can judge a man by his friends.

Plain to see unless you're a brain dead blind Zealot.

So what you're saying is that you didn't read the full article and are coming up with a judgement before you actually have read it all.

Look, I'm not an Obama fan. I voted Gary Johnson. I'm just not one to crucify and judge before ALL the facts are in. In this case, it would mean reading the full article, of which neither you, nor I, have done.

The snippet has the First Lady telling a story of non-racism as racism. I would hope that the editors and writers of People Magazine(you know, the people that wrote and published this snippet) messed up somehow and that the First Lady is not a racist. Do you want a racist First Lady, or would you be more than happy if she was so you could point it out and be giddy and say I told you so?

I'm remaining hopeful that People messed up, because having a First Lady that actually thinks that's racism, is abhorrent. There is no place for that in 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

Her words were perfectly clear as was her story to the direct questioning from the People interviewer, if you there is some context missing then provide it.

Got the full story sitting on my desk, so what is the context you claim I am missing? As stated in all the articles cited concerning it and the posted text her words and story are quite clear and quite bigoted.

If you think otherwise then post the parts you claim show otherwise.

    OH SAGE

    The silence is deafening.

How about it Marcotic. What in the entire article mitigates what I stated?
