Brawl at the Mall: Teens Injured in 'Multiple Fights'

Two teenagers were injured, one of them taken to hospital, after "multiple fights" forced the closure of a Pittsburgh area shopping mall late Friday, police said. Separate groups of "young adults" got into a series of fights that led to police being called to the Monroeville Mall in Pennsylvania starting at 5:30 p.m. ET, Monroeville Police Chief Doug Cole said.

"It was really insane," eyewitness Cory Clemente told NBC News. "I ended up locked in American Eagle." Up to 1,000 teenagers showed up at the mall late Friday, security officers at the mall told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. One fight involved at least a half dozen people, Cole said, adding that a "male juvenile" had been injured and taken to hospital after the first fight while another was later injured. The mall closed early at 8:30 p.m. ET, he said, and multiple citations were issued for disorderly conduct.

We obviously have a 'teen' problem in this country...........

 

WE have a leadership problem in this country. Someone, maybe President Reagan, once said the president's most important role is to be the nation's healer. That's true; the president has a host of people to handle international problems. So why isn't the leader doing any healing?

 

Well if you can think of a more efficient way of neutralizing a rabid pack of feral thugs by all means lets hear it.

 

From the video evidence it looks like 5 teen fighting and 995 with their cellphones out filming, Not thinking it's anywhere near as big a deal as they are making it out to be.

Automatic shotguns? Really? And here I was thinking this was a step forward because they were fist fighting instead of shooting each other.

It's called bad parenting or no parenting at all...... when people have kids and they're allowed to do whatever they want w/no consequences, this is what we get......

 

Been happening for centuries.....since the first teen hormone roared to the top.....it's nothing new....

I just hope the only ones who got hurt were those who started it and their parents have a huge medical bill and lawyer fees

 

The thought of shooting kids for engaging in fisticuffs seems a bit extreme.

Is it because, by looking at the video, the majority of those engaging in this were black?

I think kids have been slugging it out since there were, well, kids. I can distinctly remember congregating at several spots to watch fights when I was young.

 

You misunderstand, I don't want to shoot this pack of kids.

I want the ability to defend against a similar sized hypothetical group of ferals should they be coming at me personally.

Because like it or not, large mobs of destructive rabid idiots bent on violence seems to be pretty common now.

For starters, they are humans. They are not "feral". That does seem to be the code word for black in many white nationalist, white supremacist, and anti black racist circles. Second, I fail to see how anyone can morally or legally justify killing someone for walking in your general direction. Lastly, what are you going to do, walk through life with a shotgun blasting away gleefully at every person that walks towards you?

For Pete's sake, PICK UP a few HISTORY BOOKS and at least learn the history of your country! Or a book on human behaviour throughout history.... people fight, young people fight....it

So you think this type of behavior is normal and should just be blown off as those silly teen things? If so, our society has even bigger problems, and accepting this type of behavior is the start of something far more dangerous.

 

I disagree. I think in the context you were using it, it was intended to be racially derogatory.

 

How right you are...... anyone who thinks this is just teenage 'hormones' at play must have grown up in the backwoods where anything and everything was allowed by the parents.

I do remember kids being taught right from wrong and being respectful to others and certainly the authoriative figures like their elders, parents, teachers, LEO's, etc.... sure, kids got into fist fights, caused trouble, but it wasn't even close to what's happening now......

 

I nearly got run down by a pack of them just last week! It was like a horrible wrinkly slow-motion avalanche!

 

It looks to me to be exactly like what happened in the incident in the OP.

 

1. Coming at me as in with the intent to do harm, as in the circumstances anybody other than a liberal would have automatically identified given the context of the post.

2. Animals can go feral, humans can too. And its a word used to describe any rabid scumbag criminal regardless of race BUT liberalism has taken to labeling it racist (along with everything else) simply because its more often required to say it of a Black person as they are committing most of the crime.
