I'm all for exterminating all Sunni Muslims terrorist organizations. I deliberately distinguished between Sunni radical Muslims and Shias. Sunni radical Muslims are the ones spreading carnage, chaos and terror across the globe. All terror attacks on European soil were committed by Sunni Radical Muslims. It has to be said that the USA is allied with Sunni terror network in order to achieve their and Israel's geopolitical gains. Only blind people cannot see that. Another group is the team of the U.S propagandists whose job is to deny and deflect attention from the close cooperation between the U.S authorities and Sunni radical networks in the Middle East and Caucasus.

I can only urge our American friends on this forum to inform themselves about ISIS from the alternative sources before they are fooled once again by their own government. Anyway, I'm afraid it's already too late. The sufficient number of U.S citizens has already been brainwashed. Another war is coming soon.

US War on ISIS a Trojan Horse

In America's coming war, don't be surprised if everything in Syria is destroyed except ISIS.

Are you unaware of Iranian forces helping the Alawite thugs in Syria oppress the Sunnis? Iran is Syria's closest friend. The latter's survival depends on Persia.

    Iraq is a similar case.

I'm an Arab conservative. The main reason why crazy terrorists are coming to Syria from all over the world is because the West (specifically Obama) didn't take Assad out when they had the chance.

It's just that some groups took it too far. But I don't see you caring about what the Assad regime has been doing.

I think its is a sound rationale, immoral but entirely sound since it achieves success more often than not.

    Nietzsche was absolutely spot on..

Like it or not, the Assad government is the only entity that can maintain any legitimate Syrian nation.
The West's mistakes are not appreciating what happens when a Baathist authoritarian is removed.
The power vacuum is filled by the suppressed Muslim Brotherhood by any name.
A better road for the West is more carrot. Less stick.
Unite behind Assad to help kick out the Islamist by any name and come to an agreement of elections in some years. Not immediately. Say five years. Currently, no other authority can run the Syrian nation.

Consider where the West has seen a Baathist fall, sub populations of a nation get threatened.
Christians. The wrong tribe or sect, etc.

Remember, the Baathist and Royals worked together to suppress the Islamist for decades.
The west has removed the Baathist and . . . .
Today even some Royals are threatened by Islamist.
The West's long range thinking has certainly been deficient.

If they were smart, they'd move to New York. The liberals there will protect them. They'd roll out the welcome mat for them.

I don't know, the concept of a government carrying out assassinations is rather unsettling. Mistakes can be made, or there can be collateral damage, and what is being used for good can likewise be used for evil.

Imagine a government department that could kill whomever they wish with the press of a button, all done in great secrecy.
How do we even know everyone they kill was a bad person?

Your government wouldn't like that, because they need and use them as proxies.

Drone Pilots Are Quitting in Droves
The people on the ground are not the only ones being traumatized.
The U.S. drone war across much of the Greater Middle East and parts of Africa is in crisis and not because civilians are dying or the target list for that war or the right to wage it just about anywhere on the planet are in question in Washington. Something far more basic is at stake: drone pilots are quitting in record numbers.
    ....
Pilots log 900-1,800 hours a year compared to a maximum of 300 hours annually for regular Air Force pilots. And the pace is unrelenting.

    Read on here:
    http://www.alternet.org/world/new-kind-mental-disturbance-drone-pilots-are-quitting-droves
    -----------

I was hoping they quit because of conflict with their conscience. No, they are overworked and stressed.... well, maybe not all, some still have a heart.

oh so first you dont want the west meddling then when we dont and the ME reverts back to cavemanism you then ask why we didnt get involved. Perhaps if the people in the ME could get their own radical people to move into the 21st....no wait..even just the 19th century you wouldnt have to ask us to flush your toilets or get mad at us when we show up to pump the overflowing septic

So clean up your own part of the world then. Join the 21st century. Its getting old trying to teach sky god fearers not to kill children for worshipping the wrong imaginary sky floater. You cant help people that don't want to be helped. The only abject failure is our leftists thinking you can.

Is it always immoral to kill someone who deserves to be killed ? Tough one.

Indeed I have been frustrated by the actions of my government for

    1) arming radical Islamic rebels, including Al Qaeda and Al Nusra which led the greatest humanitarian crisis so far this decade and
    2) Not working with the two countries that have both the desire and capability to defeat ISIS (Iran and Syria) and not even supporting the Kurds.

In a war the line between genocide and killing one's enemy often becomes blurred.

I have in relation to Syria, at least to some degree.

Aside from the US policy of destabilization in the middle east, Syria blocked a gas pipeline which was to carry gas to Europe lessening the demand from Russia.

US foreign policy is almost always conducted on the basis of maintaining economic hegemony and/or supporting the oligopolies.

Funding an insurrection in Syria fulfills both of these objectives by punishing Syria for their blocking of the pipeline (not going along with US interests). Creating instability in the ME also keeps the drums of war active which is necessary to justify the 1 Trillion dollar annual spend on the Defense Oligopoly.

"Old School" is believed to be one of the main reasons for the terrorists massive appeal. Also, the recent Gulf Wars also were believed to have largely bolstered the ranks of terrorists and/or insurgents. This was agreed to by generals and politicians on both sides of the line, though there's room for speculation...

How would dropping the pc and doing it Old School solve the terrorist problem?

Im not an atheist and right now theists in the middle east are so afraid of imaginary sky thunder that they are cutting off childrens heads. Nothing more than angry cavemen afraid and really angry that no one else believes in their imaginary friend. It reminds me when the Vikings used to beat the water with their oars to keep the angry sky god from eating the sun. After the eclipse was over the cavemen like brains were relieved. Other sky god fearers threw virgins into pits others cut beating hearts out of the chests as sacrifice to the imaginary sky god wind fury. These people still walk among us in the 21st century. If their god is so great then why would it need its followers to force other followers to believe in it?
The video of them destroying the museum sums it up perfectly. Looked like a bunch of angry apes that just learned to walk upright with clubs fearing someone elses sky god statues may come to life. LOL cavemen, we can study real life cavemen in the 21st century!
