We all know he was born in Canada and was a Canadian citizen at birth BUT........his father was a Cuban national and like it or not according to Cuban law, he obtained Cuban citizenship too making him not a dual citizen but a tri-citizen. Cruz has gone public last summer renouncing his Canadian citizenship but what about his Cuban citizenship? It appears the right is so used to being seen as stupid by the right wing noise machine that they repeating their nonsense makes them seem smart. Birtherism was the idea the candidate and later President Obama not only hid the place of his birth but faked a birth certificate, newspaper announcements and other things to say he was born in Kenya. They went to the point of lying about what his grandmother said who they interviewed and twisted her words. Cruz himself not only has stated publicly that he was born in another country but also officially gave up Canadian citizenship. So when we point this out to you we aren't suggesting a conspiracy. We are asking the question, if you kept asking for the President's birth certificate and then questioning it when shared, because you believe that he was born in Kenya how do you get around Cruz's story? No to the OP. Like I said 7 years ago, the law of another country cannot and should not have any bearing on who could be President of the United States, so if Cruz is a citizen of Cuba by Cuban law it means absolutely nothing to me.

This is great for Cruz........he has access to citizenship from three different countries..........in a global economy this is a competitive advantage
