someone please tell me, in detail, what happened yesterday's episode? season 5 episode 3.

I know that Jon Snow killed a coward, Sansa Stark is being asked by Littlefinger to go back to Winterfell and marry someone?

and Arya wants to join a religious order that abandons all ties.

and Serci is having issues with the King's new gf who will probably marry the King and be the new Queen.

but what's the deal with Sansa? what is Littlefinger trying to achieve?

please, say SPOILER ALERT before revealing anything from the books or the illegally released episods.

One of the Crows refused to obey a direct order from now Commander of the Night's Watch Jon Snow. Jon Snow condemned him to death and personally lopped his head off.

Sansa is to marry Ramsay Bolten. She's not too happy about it, but Littlefinger told her it was a step for her to regain her family's birthright.

Arya entered the temple of the Many Faced God, the training ground for the Faceless Men (feared assassin group). She's currently learning to sweep floors and performing other menial tasks.

Tommen and Margaery married, consumated said marriage, and Margaery made sure the Queen Mother (Cersei) knew about it in a interaction that had them figuratively digging daggers in each other's backs while smiling politely.

Littlefinger is setting up his pieces. Sansa is his queen. I'm guessing that Littlefinger's path to the throne of Westeros winds through Winterfell and the North.

Interestingly, Theon saw Sansa, but made sure she didn't see him, but that's bound to blow up eventually. Bolton should know that Theon had a relationship with the Starks and either kill him or get him out of Winterfell.

I long to see the House of Stark get the revenge they soo deserve!!!!

There are four Stark members left, and one half-Stark. They could rebuild their kingdom and even take the Iron Throne with Stanis' help.

Stanis has his own designs for the Iron Throne, and if I were judging who would be best king "now" I would say Stanis. He's the adult in the room. Not a nice guy, but not evil for the sake of evil either. He seems more interested in the practical concerns of re-establishing order rather than drinking and carousing.

Only if he gets rid of the ginger. She has way to much influence over him. Besides they are paying a lot of attention to his daughter and you know what happens to people when they start getting lots of air time. After that happens he will be filled with regret and rage and become pretty much useless.

Personally I think Tyrion would make the best King. He is smart enough and unlike others he doesn't really want it. He also doesn't share the same desire for cruelty that others in this series appear to revel in. Only thing going against him is that most likely he was disowned or disbarred, however that works, from the House of Lannisters so he probably can't claim royalty anymore.

What I don't get is this lame attempt at rehabilitating Jamie Lanister. I am sorry but you just don't come back from deliberately pushing a little kid to his death from a tower. You cannot explain something like that away. I have no doubt if he did remember who pushed him that Jamie wouldn't have hesitated to kill the kid.

I honestly can't tell what they are attempting to do with Daenyrus. It feels like the are trying to portray her as rational, just and kind hearted but it keeps coming off like she is a complete and utter moron with no clue how to govern at all. They could literally kill her now and just run by committee and nothing would change. She can't control the dragons currently so she doesn't even have that in her favor. I assume at some point that will change as inevitabley the dragons will fight the ice zombies. Never read the books but you can tell that plot line is coming down the road even if you were blind, illiterate and senile.

The ginger is a problem, I don't doubt that. But it's a lot like our presidential candidates; none of them are perfect, but who would do the least damage?

Tyrion would be a top choice if he wasn't a dwarf. It doesn't sound like that's remotely acceptable for those kingdoms, so he's better as an adviser, or as he was previously, Hand of the King. He would excel in that position.

Daenyrus may have the strongest blood claim to the throne, but at this stage she just doesn't know how to be a leader. She seems to be making one bad decision after another. Maybe Tyrion will be a good adviser to her when Sir Friendzone shows up with the kidnapped Tyrion.

I think the veiled implication was that Littlefinger very subtly told Sansa to murder Ramsey after they were married, and I would assume he would murder Roose Bolton.

Easily solved and it makes complete sense plot wise. Tyrion could team up with Arya and then hopefully by that time Arya could teach him the magic face smooshing spell that they can use the change his head. He could then just wear platform shoes to make himself taller.

Sansa would rule Winterfell with Ramsey Snow, with Ramsey's dad taking over the rest of the North. Littlefinger is trying to get himself into a position of power and influence, which is what he always does.

In a word...Winterfell. Most Northmen recognize the Stark family as the legitimate rulers of the North, and hate the Boltens. Marrying Ramsey will put her in a position to reclaim Winterfell after some strategic assassinations. Then Littlefinger will likely marry Sanza and claim Winterfell (his second Stark stronghold).

Janos Slynts execution was so epic. And Stannis is standing there watching like "yup, major hard on right now"

I don't trust it for a second. Littlefinger is playing an angle and he's sending Sansa out as the bait. To what end I can only guess.

i now suspect, there will be some sort of Stark reunion.

either Sansa with Jon, or Arya with Sansa, but at least two..maybe three Starks will reunite.

Well I think the entire series is building towards that.

Kings Landing is soooo weak right now.

Anyone would defeat them and end the whole struggle.

    tonights episode was cool.

i think, as the books say, Theon will help Sansa escape.

what will happen to Theon? will he finally kill Renley? God I hope so. :)

the show is getting too far away from the books, imo.

Well if George RR Martin would spin less time riding hot air balloons, remodeling his home, and hosting political fundraisers he might have finished the book series by now and give the TV show a clear direction. Instead, they're basically having to write their own ending.

Martin himself has said that the Dragons are metaphors for nuclear weapons. How have nuclear weapons affected our world?

Remember that Dany is about 16 at the most by now. I'd be rather surprised if she didn't make mistakes in ruling a now sizeable Empire.

    Or obsidian knives

I truly hope HBO doesn't disappoint with a Deus ex Machina ending, but I really wonder how else they're going to wrap it up in two more seasons.

The Daenerys plot line is boring as hell. I know she's supposed to be some great feminist symbol or whatever the hell, but she's basically controlled and protected by men the whole time.
